Then she is a musical prodigy. I'd really love it she knew how to play violin.

 

So far, she showed how to play piano, pianica, ukulele and a bit of guitar. And also okinawa’s traditional instrument. Her profile also states she knows how to play alto horn. She’s already amazing as this, imagine she can play violin as well. LOL. I hope she would surprise us

I have actually watched the anime, so I'm slightly familiar with it. I think I remember her character being introduced playing a melodica. As for the violin, if she starts practicing now, she may be adequate when the show opens. It's Ikuta so she'll grind and grind until she gets it. The show is scheduled for next summer, so that's plenty of time.

I just realised something. Her profile photo for jobs outside Nogi's official works is her wearing a white dress. Most of the girls in N46LLC wears those kind of dress too (except Waka and that bothers my tiny OCD habit). So yeah I think it's subtle way to reveal (with no surprise) that she's part of N46 LLC's talent management. She isn't put to the roster yet because well she hasn't graduated yet.

Ikuta Erika is the cover girl for "UTB" magazine (2019.11.22)

I saw on twitter that she will appear in special stages in both the 1st and 2nd night of FNS festival. She will sing song or songs from Frozen 2 on the 1st night and she will appear along with Your Lie in April casts on 2nd night (read that she will sing an Anastasia Movie song).

She will also appear in a year end drama special in NHK on Dec. 31(?).

She’s unstoppable

For the UTB cover, it was said that she was chosen as the cover girls for the 40th anniv release of UTB because the editors agreed that her orthodox chara and beauty (also a Nogi member) are all rep of goals in the idol world.
“In addition, “Up to Boy” broke with the very first solo cover with Ikuta Erika in the December 2014 issue with a long tradition of the magazine. Five years later she appears on the cover again, photographed by the same photographer as in 2014.” Not sure what that broke with the very first solo cover means tho lol.
