Imaizumi Yui (Zuumin) / Keyakizaka46 1st Generation

Zuumin's book wasn't really on my radar until I saw some off-shots in the Flash Special magazine that came out last month. I think those photos did it for me, and I'm glad I picked it up. It gave me a nice new avatar.

 

I dont know whether it's official or not. But rumour said she switch agency a d join Avex.

If it's true, that will be a good news. With her popularity Avex will not hesitate to push her.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if she did sign with Avex. But for now we should wait until an official announcement comes out.

 

Did we know that the drama Imaizumi was in is on Netflix? Love and Fortune. It's subbed in English along with Spanish and Chinese.

Since it's official that she's in Avex, I'm looking forward to Zuumin's 1st solo album

 

From what I heard about the part of Avex she's signed with, it's a subsidiary focusing on acting. Since it's also the agency of Aki-P's theater trope. So I'm unsure of a solo album anytime soon

 

Probably a smart decision. Zuumins voice is wonderful but I wonder if it holds the impact and technique required for it to carry her as a solo singer. Maybe a few more years of maturing and really nailing down her strengths and she'll be ready. Acting and modelling is a great way to keep her in the lime light until then.

 

I love Zuumin's voice and if it means waiting for her to unleash it again so be it. She's a great actress anyway and it'll be great to see her in stage plays and stuff. Speaking of, before the site got taken down, it seemed to have been scheduled that she would star in a stage play early next year.

 

I love her voice too. Hopefully she gets a chance to work in musicals while with Avex. I've been impressed the most by her modeling for ar lately. From what I can gather from interviews she is thinking about her career pragmatically and exploring all of her opportunities. That's really good to see at her age. Whatever she does I hope it's not going to be too difficult for foreign fans to find her work now.
