Ishida Chiho。Born on March 17, 2002、from Hiroshima Prefecture。Nickname「Chiho」。She started as a 1st Generation member from STU48 in 2017。In 2018、she was selected as an STU48 Senbatsu member for their debut single『Kurayami』。On September 18（Wed）she will be a part of AKB48's Senbatsu for their Single『Sustainable』。



（1）Why did you decide to become an Idol？
When I went to a national Handshake Event of my beloved AKB48 and shook hands with Itano Tomomi、I also wanted to be such a sparkling Idol。（With such a nice smell……!!）

（2）Who is the Senpai you're looking up to？
I felt in love with Okada Nanasan's（AKB48／STU48）maturity！

（3）What is your favorite song in AKB48？
『Yume no Kawa』『Zutto Zutto』『Enkyori Poster』(AKB48）。

（4）At what moment did you feel it was the right decision to become an Idol？
On Saturdays and Sundays I used to be at home、but now I can go to various places for work and meet many people which makes every day fresh and fun。And when we get delicious treats（笑）！

（5）What were your thoughts when you were selected as a member of the Sucheese unit？
I was very happy as it was the first time I've been selected for such a small unit。I will report it right to my family、Wai！was what I thought。

（6）Which songs would you like to cover with Sucheese？
『Idol wa Uyanya no Ken』（NyaKB with Tsuchinoko Panda）、『Hetappi Wink』（ Watarirouka Hashiritai 7) and songs from other Idols as I want to cover a lot of cute songs！

（7）What character are you in Sucheese？
Responsible older sister……？　As Suenaga Okasan and I are the oldest I will do my best to be a responsible older sister……（笑）。

（8）What character are you in STU48？
I think I am a relaxed my-pace character。There are a lot of other older members already。

（9）What are you addicted to right now？
・I am addicted to fruits right now。Fruits in carbonated water ◎。
・Also I am addicted to see pretty girls in Instagram。It heals me！
・Addicted to making Omelets。I make them about 4 times a week。I love to try seasons◎。

（10）Where would you like to go if you have a time machine？
I want to go 10 years into the future。Right now I am just old enough to get a car license、so I would like to see if there are finally some flying cars。

（11）When was the last time you laughed？
At the AKB48 SHOWROOM when I said『Heart Dokusen yoku』instead of『Heart no Dokusenken』。

（12）What do you want to do this summer？
I want to go to a summer festival with everyone of Sucheese。And as we perform on a boat as STU48、I would like to see some fireworks fro the ship with them。

I am actually really happy that Chihochan kept to her word and applied to the Singing Contest, even though she isn't the best singer. But some fans were a bit sad that she didn't even tried the first time, as it would be a good opportunity to show herself to others, so she mentioned she doesn't want another chance go lost. As long as Chiho chose a song that suits her vocal range she will be okay. Unfortunately she tends to sing with her head voice way too much. She does has quite the nice voice though, even though it's more on the cutesy side

Tomorrow is the last day! We couldn't grow out the difference between 1st and 2nd place, but Chihochan was able to stay at the top! Let's do our best until the end of July!!!

 

Phew, all the grinding for her in 7narabe.
She did a showroom thanking her fans this morning starting at 09.00 AM JST.

――Ishidasan liked to talk about Tapioca in the last interview if I remember it correctly…。

Ishida Chiho　I still love Tapioca、but recently I am into an Manga called『Kingdom』。

Okada Nana　As for me、I saw the movie！

Ishida Chiho　Me too！I wasn't interested in the Manga or Anime before、but I really wanted to see the movie and then I started reading the Manga too。I've bought al 54 Volumes that are out right now、but I read almost all of them in 3 days、and just finished the last one on the Shinkansen this morning on my way to Tokyo。

Ishida Chiho　I even started reading them while taking a bath、so it sometimes happened that I went in at 8PM、started reading、and when I take a look at the clock the next time it was already 2AM。

Okada Nana　Eh！　Wait！　From 8PM to 2AM！

ishida Chiho　I even continued reading it after I went out of the bath、sometimes until 6AM。I love it so much、I really love it！　I especially like this strong character named Ou Ki、the one with thick eyebrows and thick nose。I love him。

――So you're always happy when you see him？

Ishida Chiho　It's a complicated feeling（笑）。

Okada Nana　I like Yo Tan Wa。

Ishida Chiho　I see！

Okada Nana　Yo Tan Wa was played by Nagasawa Masamisan、and I really loved her！

――Ishidasan is a person who likes to embrace her interests。

Ishida Chiho　That's right！　I obsess over things when I really really really really really love them。

――The ship theater opened in April。It has been a wait over 2 years、how did you all feel when it finally started？

Ishida Chiho　The interior of the ship seems like an image of the sea、which makes it look like a theme park。I always get excited when I visit a theme park、so I am happy that STU48GO can give me the same feeling。

――CRE8BOYsan has worked with many Idol groups including the AKB48 Groups。

Ishida Chiho　Among the lyrics are commonly used words like「Daisuki」and「Shiawase ni naru」、but there is a lot of meaning put between those words、like the for me important sentence ＜It seems I liked you more than I thought＞。

Okada Nana　Me too！　I like it too！　We're quite alike！

――If the song has a protagonist、it turns into a feeling of「I actually really like you」isn't it。

Ishida Chiho　The lyrics has strong sentences like「I love you even after saying goodbye」and「I love you and because of it I will always try to smile」。All those thoughts and feelings ar eput into the choreo、so I would like fans to look carefully when we perform the song。

――By the way、it's like Ishidasan's and Okadasan's bonding feelings (same tastes/interests)！

Okada Nana　It's really like this！　Like, I love chocolate mint！

Ishida Chiho　Yeah！　Chocolate mint is the best！

――Did you shoot the MV while the ship was moving？

Okada Nana　It was anchored。We recorded like this。

――Did it shake though？

Okada Nana　It did！

Ishida Chiho　I don't really feel it while dancing、but it's really noticable while applying Make Up。「Ah、I missed！」it's like this（笑）。

――There's also a scene in the MV with a sunset in the background。The sunset was really beautiful。

Ishida Chiho　I thought that it was a really nice touch to have the sunset in the MV for 「Shukko」。I want everyone to watch the two MVs closely。

――Now that the ship is ready, where do you want to go with it？

Ishida Chiho　Brazil。I would like to go to the farthest country。There are a lot of people around the world who doesn't know about STU48、so I would like to the farthest country and stop at various countries on the way so everyone will get to know us。

――STU48 is somehow related to the sea。I would like to hear something about the sea from yourself too。

Ishida Chiho　As for me…the last time I got to swim in the sea was in kindergarten。At that time I was stabbed by a jellyfish and since then I didn't like to go in there。But as STU48 has the image of the sea I would like to take the opportunity and get over this fear！

――For the 3rd Single「Daisuki na Hito」、every member was selected to participate, but what were your expectations before the announcement。

Ishida Truly。At first I was feeling a bit anxious how it will look this time, but when the 3rd Single was announced I thought it's really fine this time！I was really relieved。

――Especially the main song「Daisuki na Hito」、with Takinosan as center、is a warm but painful songs about a “beloved person” while watching them chasing their dreams。

Ishida　It's kind of a sad parting song、but I think it's really nice to let people go and support them for whatever dream they are chasing。I always think about all the graduated members from STU48 when singing this song、so I feel like some parts apply to me too。

Okada　Chihochan、what happened？

Ishida　Ah、don't worry about me（笑）……The Music Video almost felt like a drama too、and it kind of overlapsed with the sung story。Even while filming the MV、I was almost crying while singing and dancing。

Okada　I see, I see。

Ishida　The canon part、when everyone is doing a specific movement at a different time, was really difficult for me, but Nanasan always gave me some advice。

――As expected from a Captain！

Ishida　I really appreciated it。After that、I was trying to do my best、and watching it、it looks really beautiful with every member。

――By the way, what do you like right now？

Ishida　Recently I am into『Kingdom』。I've recently seen the move and started watching the Manga、I've ended up reading all 54 Volumes in a few days（笑）。I just started reading it from the beginning again、and I really recommend it!!

──While recording the Coupling Song of the 2nd Single「Kaze wo Matsu」you were on the ship while it was still under recontruction、but this time to could film on the completed「STU48Go」、so what are you thoughts about the ship now？

Ishida Chiho　I couldn't imagine a stage before the completion。While recording the MV for「Shukko」I was asking myself「What is this？」when entering the supposed theater、so I was relieved seeing a stage and chairs when it was finally complete（笑）。

──By the way、I know that STU48 is anchored during the performance、but do you feel the ship shaking？

Ishida　I can feel it。You can feel it when you're standing still、but it's really interesting。Also because the way of shaking is different depending on the place we're anchored、everyone is getting more and more familiar with the different waves（笑）。The waves are mostly strong in Hiroshima、but they're quite calm in Kagawa。

──From here on please tell me about the 3rd Single「Daisuki na Hito」which will be release July 31。The song title tells us it's about a beloved person、but it's a song with a magnificent atmosphere。What was your impression when you first heard it？

Ishida　「How bittersweet！」 I thought（笑）。I imagined it to be a song for having a good time as it is our first summer single。I thougt it would be an uplifting song after listening to the melody、but I got nervous when I started reading the lyrics、and I even ended up crying after the MV shooting。Instead of only thinking about a romantic farewell there are also parts that overlaps with the feeling towards members who graduated or are going to graduate。

──As there were a lot of people participating in the MV、was it more difficult to film？

Ishida　The people and fans as extras were wonderful、and the numbers we had to repeat the dance scenes were the same as always。Everyone had just learned the choreo at that day、but it was perfect。

──Let's see。What kind of group does the other 3 think is「Katte ni！Shikoku Kanko Taishi」？

Imamura　Calm and gentle。

Takino　A calm feeling。

Ishida　A lot of serious and straightforward members。

Takino　I think everyone was expecting Katte ni! Shikoku Kanko Taishi to be 1st。On the other hand it seems that there are a lot of airhead members in Ishida Chiho's Charming Trip unit……。

Fukuda　Ahahaha！（笑）

Ishida　I was honestly thinking that Katte ni! Shikoku Kanko Taishi or Charming Trip might be Number One。At the end we were at 3rd place（笑）。

──What kind of unit is Charming Trip that Ishidasan belongs to？

Ishida　Charming Trip is full of smiles、friendly、and cute。

──（笑）。The theme of the unit is「Girl Travel」。

Ishida　Yeah。Every member has an Instagram account、and we always post about photos of tourist spots in Setouchi、Cafe's and beautiful places, and makeup tools and fashion that girls are caring about。

──STU48 is scheduled to perfom at summer festivals and events such as「TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL」,「@JAM EXPO」、and「Coca Cola SUMMER STATION Music LIVE」this year as well。Please show us your enthusiasm about it。

Ishida　I disliked the summer until I've became an Idol、but after becoming an Idol and having fun with everyone at summer events、summer has become my favorite season。

――Before asking about the new song、between「Kaze wo Matsu」(released on February 13) and now、there was the big opening day for「STU48Go」、can you tell me what you were thinking when you finally started your theater performances？

Ishida：I was very happy as the opening was long awaited、especially because a ship theater is something new for the AKB48 Groups。We are starting with AKB48 songs that everyone knows and loves、next we're doing some non AKB48 songs that are related to the sea、and at last we perform STU48 songs、so it's a performance that everyone, even people who are not familiar with Idols, will enjoy, and I would like many people to come。

――The MV for the 3rd Single「Daisuki na Hito」was recorded on the ship。How was it？

Ishida：「Kaze wo Matsu」's coupling song was recorded on the ship while it was still under reconstruction、but this time it was filmed on the finished STU48GO、so I would like everyone to watch both MVs again。
This time we also had fans join us as extras、and they even had to learn the choreography to dance with us。At one part we're moving like “waves” and the fans had to do so too, so I think it became a really great moment in the MV。
They had to learn the choreo as soon as they arrived that day、but everyone remembered it so quickly that I thought they must be Idols too (笑)、and they helped us to have a very smooth shooting。

I love chocolate mint！ The usual sweetness of chocolate is not enough、so the refreshing feeling of mint fits it very well。I think it's perfect for the hot summer。My most recommened chocolate mint ice cream is「Gisshiri Manzoku！Chocomint」。

It's a shorter stream from a hotel room - short in 40 minutes long. But that's because she's not plaing any 7Narabe this time, but doing her usual talking and being her cute self stream. And that is because the event s over. And Chiho actually got to win! As Chiho and Hina got 1st and 2nd place, their CM for 7Narabe will be chosen. Chihochan is really happy about it so we got to see her smile a lot in this showroom. She also didn't forget her promise; As she not only happened to win the CM, but also got 1st, she'll be doing some reward streams; Chiho will practice the recorder and pay some songs, doing a cooking stream, and a karaoke stream from an actual karaoke bar. She hopes that everyone will be looking forward to it!!

She also talks about the Release Date of their 3rd Single Daisuki na Hito. She's happy that they got to be 1st for the Oricon Daily Rainking, thanking everyone for buying the Single. Early stream from the hotel room. She had to start the showroom while still in the middle of finishing her hair, so she apologized and started to blow-dry her hair on stream for a while lol When she finished she mentioned that some girls aren't feeling well or haven't feeling well lately, so she is kind of worried a bit. The fans too mentioned that Chiho, and the other girls, should be resting a lot between their performances to stay healthy.

She also adressed Torochan's graduation announcement. Chiho actually heard about it before it was announced, but she didn't want to believe it and would have liked to be a joke. So the real announcement hit her quite hard. She's close to Torochan, her being like an older sister to Chiho, always helping her out and listenting to her, so it makes her really sad. Especially as Charming Trip's leader she grew even closer to her, spending a lot of time together. She doesn't really know what will happen after her graduation, but it makes her feel lonely just even thinking about it.

Chiho was actually not feeling good, which is why some of her photos might look a little bit off. Fans mentioned how she appeared and disappeared during the Event. Only performing some songs, missing during the Self Introduction, re-appearing for the Media Photos and Interview, and then trying to stay for the High Touch Event - as for the last one; They announced that Chiho won't be doing the High Touch Event as she's not feeling well.

Chiho apologized about yesterday's evening. She really wanted to do her best, but she had to take breaks. And then she had to stop the High Tough event, even though there were many people looking forward to meeting her. She hopes that they can understand the situation and will come see her next time again. She really wasn't feeling well.

As of now; She's definitely feeling physically better, but her throat is still hurting. She had to cough a lot throughout the stream so she only did a short showroom, around 28 minutes.

A short stream after a wonderful day. She had a lot of fun at TIF, and while she herself wasn't performing, she had a lot of time to go to different stages and watch the other Idol groups performing. They're all really good!

Then she talks shortly about the 2nd Gen announcement. She wasn't prepared for something like this so it took her off guard and her japanese/her words went flying out the window. She didn't know what to say or think about it, but she's looking forward to the process and the upcoming new members. She'll do her best to become a good Senpai. She wonders what kind of girls will want to enter.

And then there was also the announcement for the Draft members; Mai, Yuka, and Soraha finally becoming full members. She's really happy about it as she thinks that they're already included in all the activities and aren't Kenkyuusei anymore. They're the 3rd Gen Draft members for STU48. She was also happy to see how happy it made the girls.

Congrats Chiho for ranking #1 in the 7Narabe event! She wanted it so much, I'm really happy for her! I saw the Cm and she is SO pretty (Random side-note but Hina ranking #2 and getting a Cm as well made me happy too, it's like ideal for me since I decided that they are my 2 favs in STU! LOL)

Btw Chiho really did look sick on the photos from the Plaza event I'm glad she is better now.

I really love the photos where she has red clothes from 4th August! I love both hairstyles, with the ribbon at the back and with the 2 buns. She's just too pretty! ahh

 

Even though Hinachan is not my 2nd fave in STU (it's Okichan), I am also happy about it! I don't know why though haha

STU48 has just released their new single「Daisuki na Hito」。Following Okada Nanasan、Ishida Chihosan, who also liked chocolate mint, will introduce her BEST3 products！She seems to buy them as soon as she sees them、and is always looking forward to eating them after a performance。Since everyone can buy them at the convenience store、how about buying them yourselves and telling her which one is your favorite？

01. 「UC Chocolate mint waffle cone」



If ice is in a cone or a cup, I prefer cone。This cone is a chocolate flavored one、which means it has a lot of chocolate inside、and it's really delicious！Make sure you buy it if you find it at a convenience store！I haven't seen much of it recently, and right when I though they aren't selling it anymore, I was able to find it〜、I was so happy！I ate it after a long time and it was still so delicious！My favorite chocolate mint！

02. 「Gisshiri Manzoku！Chocomint」



As the name suggests it from Gisshiri、and it's really amazing！It's like the best chocolate mint ice cream taste。There will be fewer chocolate mint products in the winter, but this ice cream is kept all year round at FamilyMart、so I am really indebted to them！（笑）。I always buy it before a performance、and I am always looking forward to eating it after a performance! My face always turns into a satisfied one while eating it（笑）。Please try it too！

03. 「LOOK2 Chocolate Mint」



All the chocolate mint sweets I buy are delicious、but these are the one with the strongest mint flavor！I like the strong flaore、and when I work for a whole day I like to buy them in the morning and eat them little by little throughout the whole day。There are actually 2 types, but if you go to a convenience store they will definitely have them！（笑）。I want everyone to try out my Top 3 chocolate mint products！

Stream from the hotel. Chiho had a lot of fun at yesterday's Handshake Event, but the last two parts strained her voice pretty much again. She was talking way too much, but she loved seeing everyone. It still was a tough day as she only got back to the hotel late at night, took a quick shower, and tried to fell asleep as soon as possible. But her cough came back pretty bad, and she woke herself up several times throughout the night. She's a bit sleepy, but with the morning her hoarse voice is a little bit better again. She looks forward to seeing everyone again today!!!

While watching the sunset, Chiho exclaimed how beautiful and strong in color it is. Like the theater ship they're on. And while doing the MC/Talk she mentioned she loves wearing Yukata (her's reminds her of Setouchi Lemon kind of), but also would try to wear a Junihitoe. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jūnihitoe
Later on they watched the show inside the ship, then were lead up to the stage to dance together with the WAGAKU members. After the show Chiho mentioned that she was overwhelmed as their singing and dancing were truly amazing.
As to how she wants to use her experience today for STU48 she mentioned that they spoke and sung with loud and clear voices, and she would like to focus on it too as the atmosphere at the venus was breathtaking.
In addition, Chiho was also quick to answer "Chocolate Mint" to the question what they like to eat the most this summer. She also mentioned that she already ate all the chocolate mints she bought for today's trip.
After the Talk an envelope was given to the MC and it was announced some sort of STU48 Okayama Bus Tour. A collaboration between Okayama Ryobi Group, Veltra, and STU48.

When I tried to access the registration form, it requires me to enter a Student ID Number ,
which is mean that the seminar will be limited for the students from their campus.

The registration has been closed at 22:00 WIB (GMT+7) last night.

I found no details about the event so far . . .
Do Chiho and Yumirin come to Jakarta just for filming then return back to Japan?
When will the seminar be held?
I've followed bemfs_unsada IG just for this purpose
