Nijika's constant sad expression still disturbs me -- for a long time, it prevented me from being a fan -- but why do I think that she will somehow contrive to establish a long and successful career in entertainment? As she gets older, she seems to get more beautiful.

I’m ecstatic for her. Been a fan since Amon-sensei made her cry way back when. Hope she shows her detractors how good she really is.

Forgot to share her last night showroom (I fell asleep).

I really like her talk and the way she have to explain things are very clear (that's why she is very popular in showroom). She talked about the 8th single and the music videos, gave us some good details. Around the minute 19:50 she talks about Hinatazaka46 "I'm looking forward for them".

It's called "Silent Friday" (沈黙の金曜日 Chinmoku no Kinyoubi) and stars well-known comics Arco & Peace. Their Twitter home says that Nakada Kana of Nogi is a regular.

Reaction has been great. People say her good radio manner and growing beauty could earn her more handshake guests (she's one of the lowest-sellers). As she progresses into her 20s, Nijika seems to be getting more and more attractive. These are from a feature in Overture magazine #018, just released:

If I could use an ‘Agree x 10’ button I’d use it now. I’m at the Pacifico Yokohama, I’m going to have to unlurk right now from this thread as I’ve just had a great HS meeting with Nijipon (my first today with a K46 member).

Firstly I greeted her as ‘Nijipon’ and her jaw dropped, I wondered if I’d used an old nickname? But I’m sure she was simply amazed a foreigner knew it! I then told her in Japanese that I’m from England and that I’ve been a fan of Keyakizaka since Silent Majority. Again she looked surprised and she held up 3 fingers so I think she was saying ‘3 years’? I didn’t quite catch that.

As usual at HS, time was now all too quickly up. She said a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to me in English and she wouldn’t let go of my hand! She held onto it for at least 3 or 4 seconds while giving me a long goodbye.

And her eyes are as big and as beautiful as I expected. For crying out loud how is this wonderful young lady not more popular??? What a great and unexpected start to today’s event!

 

Gotta say the ponytail was a really good look on this last KeyaKake. Too bad she didn't get a pair shoot this time around either, though.

 

Yeah I noticed it too, she's always been above average beauty in keya, but recently it's blooming and shining more.
