This venue is around half the size of Asakusa Kokaido, so tickets will probably sell much quicker. Her first concert at Asakusa Kokaido sold out last year. However, at the most recent show there were some empty seats on the third floor.

 

General sale has been announced.

Tickets go on sale Saturday May 13th, and can be purchased via e-plus, Lawson Ticket, Ticket Pia, and CN Play Guide.

Personally, as a foreigner I find Ticket Pia to be the most user friendly. But if anyone is interested in seeing Wasamin's concert, and will be in town in late July, here is your chance.

According to Wasamin's manager, the three setlists will all be different. I'm not sure how different. I would imagine most of the setlist will be pretty much the same with a few variations, which brings up the question about the DVD/BluRay. How many concerts will be featured on it?

This is important, since much of Wasamin's sales come from her aggressive promotions at local live events. It's tough enough to do a ton of sales on a 5-6K yen preorder, it would be even tougher if that pricetag balloons to around 10K yen or more. I can't imagine that they would package the concerts individually. But we'll see.

To my knowledge, none of the shows sold out. So if you are in town this weekend, and want to see Wasamin's show, I think there is a really good chance they will be selling tickets at the door.

If they officially announce "day of" tickets, I will post it.

 

Wasamin's manager officially posted that 'same day' tickets will be available at the venue. Today the box office opens at 4:30pm, and tomorrow at 9:45am. Both regular and special 'Ichigo' seats are available. So if anyone is in town, and wants to see the Wasamin show....

A couple of quick show notes...
1. The show got off late because the camera crew blocked off a bunch of people's seats. And these were good seats. Needless to say, the people complained, and they had to move the cameras around. Probably delayed the show for 15 minutes.

2. Wasamin's voice was absolutely ON POINT tonight. I mean next level stuff. Her confidence, the way she moved her whole body while she sang, just everything about her was incredible. She has been working with someone, because her performance level was a noticeable upgrade, and I am not the only one saying this.

3. Tonight's Ichigo seat bonus was much better than her second concert. We were brought into a medium sized conference room, and given snacks and water. Eventually Wasamin came in, and we all got in a circle around her while, did a "water-toast" and then chit-chatted for a while. She was asking how we liked the show and whatnot. Then came the 30-second video, which we did in groups of 12. She gave us a little message, and then came up to all of us individually and thanked us. She threw in a little "hello" for me. Afterwards she was asking how many of us got Ichigo Seats for all the shows, which got interesting...

Wasamin admitted she had read some of the flack on the internet after the last concert of people saying Ichigo seats weren't really worth the price, and that the bonus was kinda weak. So she was thinking really hard how to make these Ichigo seats more "worth it" She said she would think about how to make tomorrow's Ichigo bonuses a lot of fun, so we felt they were worth it too...

I would say tonight she made it very well worth it. I will post my video from the event when I get some time.

So essentially for each show they changed the guitar songs (with the exception of Ito) and the pop songs during the photo-op session. Plus they changed the placement of her first fie singles. Oh, and they added Seto no Hanayome to the setlist on Sunday because one of the songwriters, Hirao Masaaki, passed away this weekend.
