IZ*ONE 4th Korean mini-album [One-Reeler / ACT IV] (2020/12/07)

On December 7th, IZ*ONE will release their fifth mini album "One-Reeler" / ACT IV.

After the -IZ trilogy (COLOR*IZ, HEART*IZ, BLOOM*IZ), this now seems to be the One-trilogy, following "Oneiric Diary."

On November 24th, the official IZ*ONE twitter account uploaded the first teaser images:

You may wonder instead why there are none for the previous Korean releases.

From my very own perspective, since i am starting a lot of threads dedicated to CD releases these days, and considering how I am doing these as well as reporting various informations.

The thing is that i don't follow IZ*ONE close enough, and I am not used to browse and look for sources in korean medias. I dare to say I am bad at doing it.
So, it's best to let anyone more at ease with korean sources doing so.

Yeah, but I remember there was a talk once they started releasing that it was either in the sub-unit forum or in the general thread. Izone is not part of AKB, so why is this in AKB's section? Why not open threads for Rocket Punch?

The Japanese releases have also always been in this thread... there isn't really much of a difference. It'd be more confusing to say "Japanese in this section, Korean in a completely different section."

and we both know why Rocket Punch wouldn't go in this section... Hitomi, Nako and Sakura are still part of AKB48 Group, and Produce 48 was a collaboration between Produce and the AKB48 Group, whereas RCPC is something completely independent. Juri quit her job with AKB48 and started a new position with a new company. SakNakHii are still with AKB48 Group. You and I both know it's not the same.

For the record, there is also a Sub-Unit and Soloist Announcements thread in the AKB48 section. It is not meant for discussion, but other sub-units are also mentioned in the AKB48 section. I was the one who opened that thread up, but I had discussed it with the mods for a while and they were fine with it so :shrugs:

I just saw that the first set of pictures (where they're sitting in a meadow) is called "Color of Youth" and the second set is "Becoming One."

I expect the third version to be dropped tomorrow. The orange/yellow-ish colour is quite elegant and sweet, the second set is more cool. My expectation for the third one is maybe a sexy vibe? Would go well with the dark red colour scheme.

not a huuuuuge fan of the scene #3 shots - some of the girls look... sickly or like they've been in bed crying all night (which I realize is a fashionable thing over there but still)

Another french title, as a baguette stan this makes me happy
I don't know if if it's a famous word in English so here is the definition from Merriam Webster for non native english speakers:
"the arrangement of actors and scenery on a stage for a theatrical production" OR "the physical setting of an action as of a narrative or a motion picture"

 

I like Panorama a lot but it sounds a lot like Fiesta 2.0; but I guess they've found their post-scandal sound. La Vie en Rose and Violeta were also very similar imo, but unlike back then, I think this one is a step up.

I thought "wow there's a lot of Nako in this song!" and then I checked the line distribution but I guess I was just fooled because of how little J-line usually sings.

I get Yuri is the main vocalist of the group and ought to get the most lines but ._. Also sad for Hyewon. Due to her popularity with the j-pop side of the WIZ*ONE fandom and her lack of attention, I want to consider her an honorary Japanese member.

I know they don't have an official center but I always felt like they were kinda throwing Wonyoung and Sakura at the front lines. When did they decide to push Sakura to the back and pull Chaewon to the front? Going from a surprise rank-in at Produce 48 to one of the front members since at least BLOOM*IZ is surprising to me.
