I won't comment this further since we will get another 10-page discussion (/traumatized) but this is very CJ/Swings/OTR's thing. In W1 era, CJ/Swings pushed OngNiel a lot and ignored others (poor #2 Jihoon and #3 Daehwi). And since now IZ*ONE is co-handled with Swings, I'm not surprised with these kind of line distribution...

I have to agree, O Sole Mio is by far the best song on this EP. Panorama isn't bad, but like I said, it's just like Fiesta. I like all the songs quite a lot but O Sole Mio is *chef's kiss*

 

Chaewon is really popular in korea and japan AND internationally, Sakura obviously is too but Chaewon is a better singer who's voice suits well with Yuri's and Izone's overall vibe so it's not surprising to see her be pushed tbh.. Minju is my bias but I'm more surprised to see her being pushed (even though she's popular) since her voice or dance skill isn't as great as Chaeyeon's, Yujin's, or Yena's, but she's more popular than all three of them and can hold her notes better than Kkura so she gets pushed more too.

Basically being popular is great but kpop groups value a good voice and singing skills so Kkura will always get less lines compared to the rest even if she's the most popular member of the group. That being said, the parts she gets are always killing parts, and she gets a lot of screen time so i don't mind too much.

One-Reeler surpassed BLOOM*IZ as the highest first day album sales for the group with over 185k copies sold~! Hopefully they can beat their first week sales too!
Blackpink kinda killed all hopes of any other girl group getting 1st day, first week, or all time highest album sales for a while with over 500K copies of 'The Album', so a personal best or top 2 is all we can hope for.

 

tbh I really don't get why people complain so much about the line distribution in this song.... This is almost as good as it gets for an 11 member group! Equal line distribution does not equal fair line distribution.

It's FAIR for a strong singer to get a lot more lines than a weak one! If we would divide the songs lines up equally everybody would get roughly 16 secs. Yuri, the one who got the most only got 7 secs more! This is not a bad line distribution, nobody got unfairly little or unfairly much.

Both Nako and Hii-chan actually had about the same amount of lines in SSOTS

I'd say they haven't pushed Sakura to the back though... While you would think that looking JUST at the line distribution, not all lines are equal so to say and Sakura gets a lot of those high value parts. Her parts are always the ones that stand out a lot

 

Chaewon is the swiss army knife of Izone, she can do it all, she's beautiful, dances really well and has great vocals.

The start of it is like Fiesta but I think it develops it's own identity throughout the song. Still, having a brand identity is good and Izone managed to find their niche in a crowded marketplace.
