Tomorrow or next two days, that MV will reach more than / almost a million viewers.
I just checked the Spotify chart for Rapsodi and it seems that they only entered the chart for 2 days *sigh* guess this is why exposure is very important. Does anyone here often listen to radio? Do you ever heard the song being played there?
Funny that they've been doing so many promotion on sns, ads on youtube and billboard, by many artist and influencer. Fortunately, JKT48 get at least 9K new subscriber since they released the MV.
Now, the MV has a million (and a bit more) viewers.
Erika (ex-JKT48) and Jerome(Indonesian Youtuber) released a reaction video of Rapsodi and they also try to cover the song.
Sweet & Bitter MV is up!
Sweet & Bitter is meant to be an “old-fashioned” type of song. So it’s weird to see the girls performing it when they look so modern.
I really like the dance scene and the costume but it feels weird seeing them wearing it in the non dancing scene, should've wear regular clothes. Tsugi no season still feels like stronger MV but I really like the quality they have right now.
The MV viewers in YouTube is +1,3M right now... :/ I wonder why the non-fans don't wanna see that MV... :/ It's been 2 weeks after the MV's uploaded and the MV can have +0,5M viewers addition on the 2nd week, fortunately that MV can have a million viewers for a week... :/
Yesterday (some days before this comment is posted), the MV has reached 2 million (needs around 3 weeks and 3 days to reach it since the MV was uploaded).

It's not that they don't want to but they probably don't know. Idol group market is still pretty niche in Indonesia with band or solo singer format being more popular here. If they put the whole MV to youtube ads the way Iz*one did with la vie en rose it could probably get higher view but it won't be seen as "pure" number. The lack of media to promote their song properly might also have roles in the song popularity (although they manage to reach #42 on Billboard top 200). Maybe for the next single they could work together with Wordfangs or Ardhito to get more buzz? I really like Wordfangs/ffeast lyrics, like we can see JKT in different tone lol.
Yea. The only place where they can promote is talk shows. Since there is no big music shows anymore. All of them have turned to be talk show rather than music show.
I heard that a television drama film (electronic cinema) just played Rapsodi suddenly in an act.

I ever mention him some times ago, but now he just passed away some hours ago (may his soul and his body rest in peace, Amiin...). It's too late starts from now... :/
so 3 weeks ago, Sheki uploaded her cover of Rapsodi
So currently the song went viral a bit on tiktok and that really drives the number of views and stream lol. I guess now I understand why a lot of artist try to hype their song on Tiktok. As of right now (14 July 2021) the MV have 9.5m views and have 7.5m stream on spotify. With the recent popularity they also reenter some automatic generated playlist such as Indo top 50 and Indo viral. This also make Rapsodi as their biggest single surpassing Hebirote and KFC in numbers.
