@officialJKT48 confirmed that JKT48 Theatre is coming

Though they didn't specifically announce this, a conversation with a fan showed that they are working on the theater thing. http://jkt48.org/official-jkt48-mengkon ... ter-jkt48/

Basically the fan brought up the theater topic because it seems that JKT48 are only focusing on social-networks. Then the management replied by saying that they are working on it.

Kami dari JKT48 Operation Team ingin menjelaskan mengenai perihal Fahira Al Idrus dan Allisa Astri.

Fahira: JKT48 Operation Team mengistirahatkan Fahira dari kegiatan JKT48 sehubungan dengan adanya permintaan dari yang bersangkutan untuk beristirahat dengan alasan kondisi fisik yang kurang prima karena cedera. Pihak manajemen JKT48 mengambil keputusan tersebut dan berharap agar kondisi Fahira dapat pulih seperti semula dan dapat beraktifitas kembali bersama JKT48. Namun setelah bertemu dan berbicara dengan yang bersangkutan, maka diambil keputusan untuk mengakhiri kontrak dengan JKT48.

Allisa: Mengenai masalah AlissaAstri, pihak JKT48 Operation Team menerima permintaan untuk beristirahat dari Allisa Astri dengan alasan kondisi kesehatan yang kurang baik. Namun setelah bertemu dan berbicara dengan yang bersangkutan, walaupun ada pilihan untuk menunggu pemulihan diri, maka diambil keputusan untuk mengakhiri kontrak dengan JKT48.

Fahira dan Allisa menjadi member JKT48 dalam waktu yang cukup singkat, namun marilah kita mendukung langkah mereka kedepannya tanpa melupakan hari-hari yang kita lalui bersama mereka.

Concerning Fahira Al Idrus and Allisa Astri
We, from the JKT48 Operation Team, would like to explain concerning Fahira Al Idrus and Allisa Astri.

Fahira : JKT48 Operation Team let Fahira to rest from JKT48 activities with regards to her request to rest because her physical condition was not really good due to her accident. The JKT48 management took the decision and hoped that Fahira's condition could recover and she could participate again in JKT48 activities. However, after meeting and talking with her, it was decided to end the contract with JKT48.

Allisa: Regarding Allisa Astri's issue, JKT48 Operation Team received a request to rest from her because she was not feeling well. But after meeting and talking with her, even though there was a choice to wait for her recovery, it was decided to end to her contract with JKT48.

Fahira and Allisa were JKT48 members for a short time, but let's support their future steps without forgetting the days we went through with them.

JKT48 Auctioned Members Personal Items for Charity

Jakarta (ANTARA News) – Dozens of JKT48 fans raised their hands with full of enthusiasm at JKT48 members’ personal items auction in the “Buka Puasa dan Beramal Bersama JKT48” event at Jenderal Sudirman St. Jakarta, on Saturday.

Amount of Rp. 5.622.200 successfully gathered from donation and auction of three JKT48’s members personal items. The gathered funds will be donated to orphanage. Notes of Cleo, Stella’s glasses, also guitar pick that belongs to Jessica were sold with many times from the number of initial price. Stella confessed that she is moved by the enthusiasm of fans when she auctioned her glasses without lens that usually perched on her nose.

“I have never thought this, that is just an usual glasses I bought with a few thousand rupiah. That glasses have accompanied me since I joined JKT48. I’m proud with you guys who are willing to donate your sustenance for those who cannot afford to live.” said Stella after the event. Her sunglasses was sold for one million rupiah.

She also said, she is impressed with that close interaction event alongs with fans. “I’m very happy this is our first time gathering together, having dinner together, I felt like we got more closer just like in a family.” Smiles are coming out from JKT48 fans when their idols sit along with them on that break fasting event.

Ten members of JKT48, Melody, Shania, Cleopatra, Jessica Vania, Gabriela, Nabilah, Ghaida, Stella, Sendy and Neneng (Ochi) interacted closer to those fans who are a member of JKT48 Official Fan Club in that inaugural break fasting event. Aftering interacting and greeting with the fans that most are male, those teenager girls that wore white shirt returned to the stage and played a game which prize is a JKT48 shirts that are signed by all members within the group.

After entertaining their fans with acoustic performance that was done for the first time. Heavy Rotation melody slighted out from the guitar Jessica played, meantime Ochi, Sendy and Stella as vocal and Ghaida whom able to play drum sit on the Cajon.

At the same time, Cleopatra asserted this kind of event will still be done afterwards.

“Insya Allah it will be continually conducted. In every chances we will try as hard as we can to conduct this kind of event.” Said her.

“I guess in the next Ramadhan, more members will be able to come.” Said Ghaida before replied with a shout “Amin” from her fans.

“And then we won’t play acoustic anymore, but band, amin.” Added her.

JKT48 is opening registration for you who are willing to audition to be a kenkyuusei (trainee) of JKT48's 2nd Gen!

Registration Schedule:
August 13th, 2012 (Monday) 12:00 - August 31st, 2012 (Friday) 23:59

Participant's Criterias:
1. Must be 13 - 18 years old
* Participant who is under 17 y/o must submit a permission letter from their parent and a fotocopy of birth certificate
* Participant who is above 17 y/o must submit a fotocopy of Identification Card/Passport (foreign nationality)

2. Residing in Indonesia and willing to be actively working in Jakarta. (If the participant from out of Jakarta choosen, the priority will still be given to those who are residing/willing to active in Jakarta)

3. Is not obliged into any professional contract (Agency/Product).

Things that need to be included in email:

- Registration form that has been filled
- Latest photo (maximum since the last month) of half-body portrait, hairs tied backwards for those who possess a long hair, must not wear any contact lens (1 piece.
- Latest photo (maximum since the last month) of full body portrait, front look (1 piece). *Each photo has a maximum limit of 500 KB.*
- Give the photo a name according to what has been filled in audition form.
- For those who are under 17 y/o: permission letter and birth certificate (in digital)
- For those who are above 17 y/o: Identification card (in digital)
- For foreign nationals, must include the scan of passport.

JKT48's theater opening is postponed to September 8th, 2012. Tickets will be sold on September 1st. There is no other theater-related changes so far.
