Over the past hour or so I've been seeing some very worrying fan tweets reporting that Sayaka fell from the stage during tonight's live performance at Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium in Tokyo. I've been waiting for a more reliable news source before posting here and TBS has just reported the following:

I hope and pray that she'll be OK and that the next reports will have some better news about her.

The following day after the incident, she was said to have suffered 'minor' injuries. Now she's revealed to have a 'fracture'.

hope the management are not spinning it from minor injuries to fracture , just to keep negative publicity over safety off their backs.
but it's common that some fractures can only be detected only after the swelling and pain have come down so 1-2 days later could be true.
sad that she couldn't join the tv shows/music shows/events for promotion but she'll have to take her time to fully recover physically and mentally(the experience could become a phobia for her)

 

Apparently minor injury (軽傷) is used for things that heals in a month.

I am happy to know that she's doing well in her recovery. I am terrified to hear about her injuries. I am hopeful for her return.

 

There’s one sentence that jumps out for its phrasing in Japanese:
休業中は、私の本当に戻るべき場所、将来の事を考える時間でもあります。
“While I’m resting, I'll also have time to consider the place I should really return to, as well as the future.”

As I and online wotas interpret it, she’s not implying here the “place” is Nogi, but rather she’s unsure where she should return.

I don’t know if anyone on the English internet has explained the circumstances of the fall, so basically what occurred was Sayaka walked out during the concert’s encore onto a platform built a little over 2 meters above a dugout (Meiji Jingu Stadium is primarily a baseball stadium) and fell off the end of the platform into the side of the dugout. There was no guard rail where she fell, it was nighttime, it apparently rained earlier, and she was probably looking at the audience.
