When it comes to find vocalists it's indeed over. In Keyakizaka we had Techi and Neru who took vocal lessons as a hobby before applying to a idol group, same with Katoshi, Miipan and Sato in Hiragana. I assume Rikatan in Sakurazaka and Kahorin in Hinatazaka took vocal lessons as well. Maruyama said she cried during audition after she heard Rikatan's good singing. But since both Sakurazaka and Hinatazaka went through generation without experienced vocalists they had to urgently scout from performance school or underground idol scene. Rikatan and Kahorin just ended up as lucky cards. Even in Hinatazaka we saw in 5th gen there is one who was in the underground idol scene and left the group in 2023. The age of outlier with star quality is definitely over, of 11 members they only found one in 3rd gen and only one of 20 members (Neru joined later to be 21) in 1st gen. It's not worth it to try to chase vocalists from newbies when you can find one immediately from underground idol scene. They should have learned from Zuumin who came from Smile Gakuen. Ikolove is also group with some members with previous idol experience and performance school (ASH). The competition in the market is getting more harsh so they can't afford to rely on newbies anymore. Sony Music has ten times more resources than Avex so they should attract talent from underground idol scene imo.

I looked up info about Stardust Promotion and it's one of Japan's largest talent agencies with 1000 actors, actresses and artists. Momoiro Clover Z for example is under this agency. We don't know for how long Haru was signed to Stardust Promotion as we know Neo was under Amuse from 2018 to 2024 (SG disbanded on 8/31, 2021). Sakurazaka 4th gen audition was held in Aug 2024. If she was under this agency at young age that could bode well for her singing ability. She took singing very serious from young age. I don't think she was serious in that vlog when she performed a made-up math song for fun. She had to think while playing.
It seems to be hard to find more info about Cha Cha Wachazu. I wish we had some clips of her. Edit: tried to search again, still 0 performance´s clips found. I only found some photos of them and most of these were posted by their agency. Still, we know that Stardust idols receive training and are known to be kinda polished. Stay with cute Haru-chan pic
At about 5:20 of the 4thGen Documentary, Haru "collapsed" on the floor (Reminded me of Techi's Fukyouwaon drops). She got up and basically indicated even if she falls down, she will get up and look forward. Gutsy move right there! It's not easy to do something like that. Her stock definitely went up with me. I was impressed!
And she is shown smiling happily when it was announced they would do Seijaku no Bouryoku, and also when it was announced that Takahiro would come on the last day to watch them perform. She seems to be a confident person, or at least naturally relaxed and not a worrier. Between this video and her own intro video, I find myself liking her.
I thought it was just my impression, but after 4ki docu ep3 I've seen many comments pointing out that Haru-chan has Fuyuka vibes. Since u were a Fuyuka oshi, what do u think? @Philosophy Senpai

Also, a simple browse through the first pages of new gen girls in all sakamichi, either here in stage48 or the discord pages, you'll see that every fan has its own idea of who each girl has a resemblance with. Fuyuka had a most atypical nose for a Japanese and a nose that was the first thing on her that I felt in love with LOL... Haru has a cute little rather flat and round nose, like so many pretty daughters of Japan... Haru seems to be also quite taller. But even if you consider the first four points, I am still bewildered by where these people see Fuu-chan in Haru...
