    Former HKT48 actor Kodama Haruka (26) attended the release event of her 2nd photo book "Stay 25" (Crocodile Books) held in Tokyo on the 27th. For her first photobook in six years, she took on the challenge of many sexy and bold cuts. I wonder if it was a work that achieved that."

    Interview:

    After graduating from HTK48 in 2019, Kodama Haruka turned into an actress and recently expanded her range of acting by playing the role of a single mother in "From the world without sky". On November 25th, she released her photo book "Stay 25" (Crocodile Books) for the first time in about 6 years. She heard her true intentions and her change of heart as an actress.

    ──Congratulations on the release of your photo book. I saw it and was surprised.
    Kodama: This time I wanted to make a work that would surprise you. I think my fans have seen various photobooks and gravures, so I wanted them to feel that "this time it's different". Made in the spirit of entertainment.

    ──Why did you make a photo book at this timing? Does that mean you want to focus on gravure as well?
    Kodama: No, it's not that I'm going to focus on gravure. In order for me to do my best as an actress, I hope it will be an opportunity for everyone to know about me.

    ──I won't write about the content in detail, but I didn't think there would be that much exposure. Did you hesitate?
    Kodama: Before the shoot, I had a discussion with the staff about what kind of content to make, and while looking at a number of photobooks, I decided on a line that said, "Is this about okay?" Well, when it came time to shoot...it ended up like this (laughs). But I don't feel like I'm taking off that much.

    ──Is that so?
    Kodama: In the end, I'm thinking of leaving it up to the viewer's instincts, but it's not like I was stripped (laughs). I shot with the intention of leaving a beautiful work of art. Especially at the age of 25, I think it's the age when you can take pictures of yourself as a woman, so I think I took the best form of myself.

    It looks like the photobook behind the scenes video has gotten a bunch of views (2.5 million as of this posting) and she has gained a nice chunk of subscribers as a result. Hopefully she can ride the momentum and really get her channel going.

    I've received her photobook last weekend and I must say I am very impressed.
    Even though this must be the most spicy photobook I have ever seen of a (ex) 48 group member (seriously though, some shots you will never ever see from an active member) it never felt wrong or ordinary.
    The pictures show Haruppi in all sorts of light, from high class to the girl next door in the countryside.
    The size of the book is also very generous.

    Well done Haruppi and team, a solid 10/10

    My copy of the PB has just arrived, I got one of the signed ones:

    I agree with @Oddball82 that it's the most spicy PB I've ever seen of a 48G member past or present with oppai and oshiri shots that leave very little to the imagination especially the photos near the end with her wearing a semi-transparent blue top. However it's still very tasteful and also it'll become one of the largest PBs in my collection. A definite 10/10 from me too!
