Today was the Swimsuit Surprise photoshoot for the members who ranked in the general election, wasn’t it
Komi had the day off today
My feelings have calmed down again, so I could finally take a look at the members’ Google+ and everybody looked happy and the fans were also congratulating a lot
Komi couldn’t think anything but “isn’t it nice” while looking at it
The Swimsuit Surprise from the time after the general election which is always getting bought by AKB’s fans, it was Komi’s dream to be in it
Therefore, it’s really, really frustrating I wasn’t able to participate in today’s shooting and appear in the Swimsuit Surprise
And it’s frustrating I can’t let anyone who voted so much for Komi see a Swimsuit Surprise with Komi in it
Dendenmu chu, the Majisuka Gakuen musical, concerts, there have only been frustrating things recently…
I couldn’t do anything except watch from behind while same gen members and juniors were rapidly moving ahead
Because of that, this general election was a big chance for Komi to catch up, however, I wasn’t able to seize this chance
And Mion and Nana rapidly went ahead of me again…
This made me think that the frustrating reports will continue during the following year
Lots of people are coming to me during individual handshake events,
I’m receiving many comments on Google+,
at those times, I can clearly see where I myself am standing in the 48G
So if Komi gives her best results will be tied to it because I feel that great effort will be rewarded and I love [doing] AKB’s activities
And the general election shows the result of this 1 year.
But it wasn’t possible to leave a result
I’ve been thinking about what’s to follow a lot because of this general election
Honestly, I strongly believe [participating in] the general election for the third time next year will be the last chance for Komi’s idol life
My last chance to catch up with everyone and go towards the top.
For this reason, I absolutely have to rank in next year’s general election
I’ve been considering various things and only felt uneasy, I haven’t been able to smile yet again but I wanna become able to smile again soon, I’ll give my best to become an idol who delivers smiles to everyone

Oh god :/ I hope someone close to her can cheer her up, I really hope she will not just give up before it even started.

 

As I thought, this really effected Komi. She's not even smiling anymore....I hope she can rank next year. And if she doesn't, I hope she doesn't graduate too early because of that....

 

Maybe she'll change her mind if she ranks next year.

 

can one of her seniors calm her down she seems like such a perfectionist, she needs to go easy on herself. She is still so young! Maybe she'll rethink it in a little while.

 

I agree. I think she isn't thinking straight from the shock of not ranking. I hope she changes her mind. After all, this was only her second time participating in the election. I'm sure she'll rank next year since her fan base is rapidly growing and she's appearing on more variety shows.

Although she says she finally calmed down but from the post it sounds like she still hasn't and she isn't thinking straight.
I'll give it a month cos in the environment she is in, it will take a while. It will be hard to avoid because she's constantly being reminded about the SSK, like she said in her post about the SSK Ranked girls having a swimsuit photoshoot and all that. As kaykay said she need her senpais to talk to her and comfort her.

She has a full year to think about what she just said and I think she will take back most of what she said

it only means that her gen's ace wasn't as good as they thought she is, whatevs. she said she wants to follow nana and mion, not her gen's ace. mion ranked in next girls as new so why would it be impossible the same for komi? i don't understand.

it's okay if you don't like her, but don't say such things in her topic. we could go to aya's topic and say we won't care if she grad, but we don't do it-- or do you just want to create a mess? lol.

Why would it be impossible to rank where mion ranked?

 

If she actually plans on graduating because of lack of rank next year I think she'll be rushing it. She's only like 16 or something right? She still has a lot of time to gain fans.

I don't think her g+ post will endear her much to any potential new fans as she does sound kind of salty. I think she'll get more opportunities in the coming year though as she did rank high in the prelims. Probably in gravure.

miion can get rank because she get a push.
i think nextgen center is too high for her, even naanya who get a big push just ranked in UCG. and if she want get a rank next year, she needs more "push" from mgmnt.

 

It will take them quite a while before they can reach their target rank but it doesn't mean they can't dream big
