Chisato are hardly popular at all though.. And once you're at Abe or Yamamoto Airi level of singing, it's all down to personal taste. You like technique? pick Airi for example. You like more flair? pick Abe for example. That's why they're only one win apart. Though i agree that it's still like 60% popularity and 40% skill voting. But i'm still happy for girls like Shimoma getting in and Momoko's top 10, which clearly got their spot by pure skill.
