I had my online talk with Mirinya yesterday!

Okay, so I really messed up. I knew I was gonna spend the weekend at my boyfriend's house, but I was already on the +2h journey to his house when I realised I'd forgotten my passport at home. You need to verify your identity in order to progress with your calls. I thought I'd still give it a try with my European driver's license.

I got put in with a staff member who asked me if I had a passport and I said I don't have it on me, so he asked for a Japanese driver's license and I explained that I don't live in Japan, so unfortunately no. I got put on hold and after a few minutes, a Japanese staff member came and talked to me. She was saying a lot of things and I didn't understand most of it. I told her "watashi wa nihongo wa hontou ni heta desu" (my Japanese is really bad), and honestly, I am so grateful for how patient she was with me.

She asked me to hold my driver's license into the camera, and then asked me for my fortune music ID (email address), and then something else, but I couldn't understand her until she said "otanjoubi" and I forgot how to say 4th, but yon-nichi worked as well, luckily.

Like I said, they were super patient and helpful, and after confirming my email and birthday, they allowed me to go into the waiting room. At this point, it had been 45 minutes since the slot opened, so I guess I was the only one left, cause as soon as I entered the waiting room, it said "Your turn is next."

I said hello, Mirinya looked amazingly pretty and cute, and I told her in Japanese that she's been my oshi since debut. She went like "waaah arigatou" with both her hands on her cheeks, and she looked so happy and cute!!

I also had a Naatan slot booked, but I decided not to go through all that effort again for now. I have already purchased new online slots for both Mirinya and Naatan for January, and this time, I will definitely keep my passport on me. However, if it is any reassurance for anyone, I really recommend giving it a try! They don't have English speaking staff, but they're super patient and helpful and they do want to help you get into the call with the girls. I'm really glad it worked in the end!!
