I see no problem with her ranking, things like that do happen, but if she does, she's ranking pretty low.

If all the Taiwanese fans vote for her she might rank, but I doubt they would, the Taiwanese fans most probably already have an oshi of their own.

 

I'm not too surprised by her difficulty in speaking Japanese. Speaking a new language is already hard enough, and Japanese grammar is very different from Chinese. On top of that, she's still very new at performing on stage.

What I am surprised by, though, is how much better the other Taiwanese members are at writing Japanese. If you follow AKB48 GROUP(TW/HK) on LINE, the Taiwanese KKS send short messages in both Chinese and Japanese. Matchalin writes the most by far, but her writing needs a lot of work... Sometimes things are lost in translation because she can't express herself fully in Japanese like she can in Chinese. I have noticed her getting a little better recently, though.

I don't expect her to rank, but maybe in the prelim if all the Taiwanese fans vote on the first day.

 

It seems like we can go handshake with Matchalin for free! Not sure how time will work without tickets but hey I'm grabbing some free handshakes

These have been appearing all day since they first went up on GYAO. If mods were going to take them down, which they have never done in the previous years, they would have started and made a statement about it already. They are good, especially since @sscria gave away to access the official vid, rather than a pirated version.

Also, where does she live? Is it like the manga, where they have this dormitory until they find a place of their own? Or does she like live in a rental apartment, or with another member?
