Seems solid. Also from Kyushu and looks a bit like Neru. Lovely husky voice and elegant manner. The nice way she sometimes looks off quickly as her words rush out. Excellent drawing skills. The captain prediction will stick in my mind. The big intake of good candidates means to me that Seed & Flower has decided to keep Sakurazaka going and try to pump up its popularity. I want Karin and others to get more chance up front, and newcomers may interfere with this, but I'm happy that S&F wants to make this new investment. She says in her blog, in answer to a question, that back home in Fukuoka, she had the nickname "Mioma". (Matono Mio > Mio Matono > Mioma). I've been watching the Omotenashikai and the Documentary, and continue to be bowled over by the amazing quality of the 3gens, Mio included. She can dance, she can sing, she can draw...and her huge smile.... She is the youngest 3gen, by a few months after Itoha, but she seems so mature (with, it is true, a hint of her youth). Some notes from "SokoSaku" and intro video. Ep. 127 She is a huge Kobayashi Yui fan. She turns into a shy, cute fangirl around Yuipon. She also wishes Yui to praise her after the roller coaster ride at a later episode. Likes Salmon and Ikura(Salmon roe/eggs) Ep. 129 Kudos to the cameraman for working hard on this one. He had to film the opening sequence several times and clearly showed his bias and fondness to the cute Matono much to the dismay of the veteran members. (off topic, but Ozono flirting with Sawabe was funny too)
