Minegishi Minami (Miichan) / 1st Generation

I wish she would be in more singles

 

But she's been in all the singles (not sure if Skirt, Hirari counts though)... If you mean a bigger part in singles I wouldn't disagree XD

 

I heard she was one of Skirt Hirari selected members (Oshima, Takahashi, Maeda, Narita, Kojima).
But since her dance was too good compared with the others and the image of AKB48 was a amateurish group at that time, Akimoto and Natsu-sensei decided to except her from the selected members.
So after going home, Miichan cried with her mother.

Agreed. I don't know how these idol groups really work though, so....my opinion is pointless. That's sad about crying with her mother, though

I can sort of understand that decision. Her dancing is just too good, which makes her stand out. It's okay if you just focus on her, but when you're watching them as a group it really brings out how... ehm... less good some of the others dance.

I don't think the others are bad dancers, but Minegishi's dancing is 100% by the book. I think that if you want to see how a dance is supposed to be done, you should look at her.

Maybe she can be Natsu-sensei's pupil after she graduates.

I think she can be a pro-dancer in the future but I prefer she to be a singer

^yup, thats true. though its not like i think she can go solo for now, but her voice is like a must to perfect the group
