Myao was a solid member of AKB. Back in the golden years she was pushed a lot. I remember seeing her quite often in the 2010-2012 era. I know the push didn't really do a lot for her in the end and she got relegated to the theater, but honestly she was a great idol and performer. She seems to really enjoy the entertainment field so I hope she continues to reach her goal (whatever that may be now). Produce48 got her some new fans and kind of revived Myao I feel like so if her goal is to be in Korea or at least try it out like Juri (and Sakura) is doing then all to her. A new chapter for her begins I guess. It can be hard to leave the only place you know.

 

I always felt really bad for Myao. I remember watching the old AKBingo and seeing her everywhere and I always wondered why the push didn’t work. I can only imagine what it feels like to be pushed so hard and to go nowhere with it. That has to really hurt.

Regardless, I wish the best for her in her future endeavors! I remember how excited she seemed to be on Produce48 so I’m sure she’ll be happy in that industry. I’m excited to see what she does!

Maddog Miyazaki is still one of my fav characters from the old Bingo days. The face when she cut into Mariko was priceless. Super solid MC and very funny in variety. She will be missed for sure.
