MM 25th Anniversary Special Audition announced !! Application period is from 9.14 to 10.24. Probably to make up the numbers since the graduation of Chi-chan & Kaede announcement recently. MM is also gracing the cover for UpToBoy Issue 319.
I guess we get more g-announcements soon. If they already announce new auditions even with the "high" number of members... I don't like MM this clouded...
They added a new member very recently, it feels a bit early to do auditions again... even if it's because more members are planning to graduate soon (maybe), the group has enough members that even if 1-2 more graduations happen, it would be ok. I personally still don't know all the current members and I feel like it would help them if they have less changes... Btw that's Kitario center in the audition poster, right. She looks good! It makes sense to me, we lost/losing 3 members in the recent few years while only gaining 1. The remaining 9th,10th and 11th gen members are all at or around 25 years old which is quite old for an active idol if you don't count people like Dasu and Yukirin. Even the 12th gen members are all over the age of 20 and approaching their 8 year anniversary. Its sad to think about but everyone is a potential flight risk, they have reached an age and tenure where they can graduate safely at any time and I feel that we aren't prepared for the future right now as well as we could be. The transition to the KitaRio group ace/center is finally here but if a mass graduation were to happen we would be reduced to 4-5 members like what happened during the end of the Platinum Era when Kamei and the 8th gen all graduated and we only had 5 members until the 9th gen eventually debuted. I love this lineup but once Maa-chan graduated I knew that this era was coming to an end and I think management feels that way too and are preparing for the next era led by KitaRio and the 15th gen
