    I met Bibian tonight! :D It was at an idol group show at the Intercity Hall in Shinagawa called TOKYO GIRLS GIRLS and CANDY TUNE were one of the groups in the line-up. Afterwards the group had a meet and greet event with cheki 2-shots available for each member. As is currently usual masks had to be worn but I'll still sort of hide my photo in the spoiler along with the ticket I could keep as a souvenir:

    Afterwards I was able to have about 15-20 seconds talk time with her. I said I was an HKT48 fan from England and I liked her center performance in the coupling song 'HKTjou, Ima, Ugoku'. Although she was happy I knew her from her previous career she seemed perhaps a little lukewarm about that and preferred me saying that she was good in her new group.

    Indeed she was very good in tonight's performance and she also led the MCs. She had quite a long queue for chekis so she seems to be popular, however the longest queue was for member Tachibana Kotomi who used to be in Milky's group Ange et Folletta.

    It was fun meeting Bibian and I'll continue to follow her in her new group.

    I always wonder if her HKT career would have turned out differently if she didn't debut with that weird/quirky character with the bowl-cut hairdo. We all know she is incredibly talented in variety and MC/Speaking ability but she hid the fact that she could also go toe to toe with HKT's most beautiful ranks for sooo long. Feel like she could have even replaced Hana as the HKT next gen center candidate. Candy Tune is showing us what that Bibian variant could have been like

    I usually don't like to post the same thing in two threads, but I don't see how to avoid it.

    Yui Sakurai of the idol group FRUITS ZIPPER and Nanako Ogawa of CANDY TUNE appeared at the idol and fashion dream festival "IDOL RUNWAY COLLECTION Supported by TGC" held at Yoyogi National Stadium 2nd Gymnasium in Tokyo on the 7th. At ORICON NEWS, we asked the two, who are good friends even in private, about their impressions when they first met and their enthusiasm for the live runway stage.
