I've recently watched some of her performances, and I love her singing voice! She's got this calming, tender aura about her. Hope to see more of her smile! Definitely one of my 18th gen favourites.
Kohi's recent showroom (Feb 28) if the video does not show watch the video here It's been a while since her last showroom, lots of things happened! She talked about going to Korea to find the Fanmeeting venue, the pillow throwing competition, the KKS new stage and some other stuffs! Also a lot of singing toward the end! My highlights: For the Trip to Korea: She never really appeal to staff about knowing/using Korean In AKB there seems to be an internal interview at the end of every year, and she told them there about her ability. Staffs were quite surprised and said will give it a thought (they weren't aware of her Korean speaking ability?!) One day, staff contacted her and leave it to Kohi to find the Fanmeeting venue in Korea! In case you missed it : if the video does not show watch the video here It was about two days after Hiichan grad show in theater. She asked Hiichan for help and Hiichan gave some recommended spots. Kohi knows Korean language but has never been there, so Hiichan's detailed explanation and links in her notes really helped Kohi. She really did all the talk by herself, the Korean venue staff cannot speak Japanese. The event place was a recommendation from Hiichan, apparently it's commonly used by K-Pop idols, and IZ*ONE also did some event there in the past. Kohi was worried whether her self-learned Korean would be understood by the real local Koreans Turns out it was not an issue, and her communication went smoothly! For the pillow throwing event It was in Shizuoka, Ito City. A relatively rural area. Because of distance from usual fans in Tokyo, she was afraid local people's voices would be like: "That's AKB?" "Who is that??" etc But, she was pleasantly surprised that people there recognized her, waved at her, and they even knew and called her nickname "Kohi" !
