[NEW GROUP] HKT48 (Hakata, Fukuoka) Auditions

LOL, I just noticed that on the cover of AKB History, it says 「研究生公式教本」basically, "official KKS textbook" and the cover basically calls it required reading for future KKS so those of you trying out better read it.

Quite a brilliant way to sell the book to all these hopefuls. They should totes test HKT48 applicants on stuff in the book just for the luls. Out of habit, whenever I see HK, I always thing stands for my country (technically SAR whatevs) then it's like... oh wait, right.

I think it is pretty awesome for any girl to go out there and try and make it. But i think knowing the language is really important. Thats why Girls Club will forever by my fav gaijin idol group. [rock]

^ personally I don't understand why he would form another group so quickly. I can understand that he wants to "ride" the fame of AKB at the moment but I think in the long run, if this continues (I heard rumors that there is going to be Sapporo48 as well) people will soon be "feed up" by the XX48 concept. Particular people who don't like the AKB-franchise as it is.

 

And they reignited my love of choral music It's impossible to have too many cute girls.

I really wish this would've taken place a few prefectures higher. I think I'll be forever waiting for some Aomori girls singing about apples. [worried]

 

Or go to Miyazaki and make them sing about mangoes

 

I want to audition.... but I'm turning 23....

Today was the second stage of auditions, and 45 girls got through. The final stage of auditions will be early in July, and I'm guessing that we might be seeing the debut of HKT48 1st gen at the Seibu Dome concerts.
