Edit: Btw, I was watching the Jiji Press video, Matsuoka Natsumi saying that her mother's birthday is on the same day of the shonichi (11/26)

Ready and clean - they dropped all girls with ranks being squares of integers... (!!!) Is that how japanese management works?!?

 

The 4th and 9th place being dropped could also be because the Japanese pronunciation for 4 and 9 can also be read as death and suffering so it's considered bad luck...

...or just management don't like them regardless if 100 people like them on mixi. Those kind of low figures can't really represent any kind of popularity.

 

HKT48 makes their theater debut

On November 26th, AKB48 sister unit HKT48 held their first showcase at HKT48 Theater in Fukuoka.

With member Kodama Haruka as the MC, the girls performed a total of 16 songs in front of 300 fans.

HKT48 is the youngest group of AKB48-related groups as they have an average age of 13.8. The 21 first generation members were first introduced at AKB48’s handshake event at Seibu Dome back in October. On November 14th, they held a press conference where they announced that they would finally make their theater debut.

On this day, the 16 members who performed were Kodama, Anai Chihiro, Imada Mina, Ueki Nao, Kumazawa Serina, Komori Yui, Shimono Yuki, Sugamoto Yuko, Tanaka Natsumi, Nakanishi Chiyori, Matsuoka Natsumi, Miyawaki Sakura, Murashige Anna, Motomura Aoi, Moriyasu Madoka, and Wakatabe Haruka.

Somebody email HKT's management to hurry up and get DMM so we can get their LOD so I can watch their Innocence performance.




S2 is the longest tenured stage ever performed by a team. A1 doesn't count cause we can't really call KKS as a team.

It has just been a 2 months since KII ended their S2 run and now we have it again.

I'm really happy Wakaharu's stage unit is "Glory Days" since that's my favorite out of the units. :3 I'm also happy they're doing Team S's 2nd Stage though since I love SKE in general, though S2 is an awesome stage as well. 8D Ahhh, I really wanna see it right now...And I wonder why Saayan wasn't part of the selected members. >___> That just suckkkss.
