Looking at this without the 8-nins, you see that barely anything has changed.

• Team K is practically the same except they got stripped of their aces. However, they got Komi which is a massive upgrade. I hope Mako stayed in 4 though.
• Half of 4 got distributed amongst the other teams but I think it is was mostly for the better. I wish Chialing went to A instead but 4 is not bad I guess.
• A basically just moved their less popular members to B in exchange for all the other popular members. It's kind of lame tbh. Mion should go back to K. Renacchi should go back to B. Anyone with a brain would know that Moekyun belongs in K too. And now that B has so many members I feel like there probably be yet another mass graduation from B. I'm looking at Saki, Nattsun, Miyu & Oya. I would have let Megutan, Hiwatan and Yukarun stayed in A.

Basically:
A [12] - 3 (Mion, Renacchi, Moekyun) + 3 (Megutan, Hiwatan, Yukarun) = 12
K [12] - 1 (Mako) + 2 (Mion, Moekyun) = 13
B [15] - 3 (Megutan, Hiwatan, Yukarun) + 1 (Renacchi) = 13
4 [12] + 1 (Mako) = 13

 

Well, they have the bounded KKS, so it should be more like...

A: 16
K: 13
B: 17
4: 14

Still, I find the whole "bound to" term stupid af.
Like, if it wasn't stupid already through the draft when they keep shuffling the teams, you do it now with normal KKS when it's still obvious that they will be needed in other teams as well?
Just promote them and be done with it!

But yeah, the Team 8 kennin is just a cover up to fill in the gaps while using their own AKB members, which is good for the eitos anyway.

I hope the D3 brings in girls who can perform as normal KKS instead of bounded to teams (like HKT did in the D2), because drafting them into teams is just dumb.

Note all Eitos are wearing the regular costume (not a separate T8 one).

Watched the A and 4 shonichi and they were both really good and I actually felt like they did have some kind of identity going on. That said, some girls didn't quite fit imo.

Team A
Mion really shouldn't be here. I guess they needed someone young and vocally capable since Takamina has so many lines but she really should be shining on her own stage. I think Nana would have been a good fit but she's also deserves to be star of her own show imo. Bring her back to K.
Renacchi kinda pulls it off but na she's not the dark serious beauty type. She's the jokey not too serious type, perfect for B.
Ayanan got seriously swallowed up by everyone else. Couldn't feel her presence. I say bring her back to K too.
Moekyun is a hot favourite in the international fandom and she's tall yea like most of Team A but idk, she doesn't have the classic Japanese look and stands out in a weird way imo. Bring her back to K too, it's where she'll shine.

Team 4
Gyouten Yurina she looked way too glamorous lmfao. Everyone in Team 4 has that fresh bubbly hyper energy and I'm not sure if it suits her. She'd be perfect for A though.
Machiarin not making it to shonichi even though she's a senbatsu member is no surprise too because she just isn't hyper and bubbly like the rest of 4. She would have killed it in Mokugekisha tbh. And imagine A covering Touhikou with her in the narration lines. OMFG the whole of Japan gon turn lesbian.
