NFL - American Football - Thread

So any of you guys watch NFL - American Football? I myself am a Cowboys fan. I know, I feel for me as well.

I live in the DC area, but omg I can't stand Redskins fans. Just... bleh. (I actually can't stand the entire NFC East but that's a different story). However, I do appreciate Jerry Jones on some sort of meta level

Huge Giants fan. Hoping Eli plays ALOT better then he did last year.

 

San Francisco 49ers fan here. Been rooting them since 1989 season when I saw them first time. Joe Montana & Steve Young
I like Bears too. I usually try to watch at least one game from each team on regular season, it has become my habit.

P.S. I live in Finland and all the people that know me, think that I'm crazy... following some Japanese pop group and watching NFL

 

Packers-Seahawks tonight (The Regular season begins today)

 

Lifelong Niners fan here. Can't stand the Cowboys (sorry @Bushido), Raiders or Sea Chickens. Can't wait for tonight, but also concerned with all the offseason stuff the Niners had to deal with. Division will be tough again and without Bowman, Aldon...and probably McDonald for a while, our defense is gonna have a hard time.

 

Over/under 60 for Cowboys vs 49ers? I would take the over. Both team have good O but awful D for diff reasons. Def expect high scoring.

 

Seahawks look dominant. Will be hard to beat.

 

I can see them going 15-1 (Seahawks) this season. They are that good.

 

Aaron Rodgers definitely look mediocre last night. Didn't think Eddie Lacy would get stuffed that much too.

 

49er fan here even though I live in So. Cal. Been a fan of theirs since watching them win Superbowl XVI. We'll have to see how their defense holds up the first few weeks.

That scumbag Ray Rice got released. Good (should have happen a LONG time ago though.).

Wow...Romo was awful yesterday. I actually really feel for you @Bushido. With another quarterback, that game might've been a lot closer.

 

Heh, the timing disgusts me royally. I agree they should have done it from the get go, but to do it now is just really distasteful. I mean do people need a month to decide whether or you should act accordingly to something that's nationally not acceptable?
It's like the NFL has every chance to correct their mistakes, but not the lower people like the players... heh. If people would've done their fricking jobs from the beginning, you wouldn't need public opinion pressure to decide on something. Worst part, given I think everyone decides a 2nd chance, Ray Rice won't get much of one in the NFL... I mean allow Donte Stallworth and Josh Brent to be back in but yeahhhh (which they INTENDED to get drunk and drive)

 

Man, not just Ray Rice, but Adrian Peterson now? What's with these running backs man?

Been a fan for my whole life. I catch most if not every game, Preseason, Regular Season, Post Season.

Note to all. I talk a metric ton of crap about A LOT of teams. Don't take it too personal. It is part of the game. Rep your team.
