I didn't know they sold 80% after 8 rounds. But even then there are other factors. It is easier to sell 80% handshakes for a group of around 30-40 members that have been together for 4 years without any incursions from other groups.

It is much harder to:

A) to sell 80% of hs for 300+ members
B) even if you only count AKB only (not including kennin) members, they still have to compete in hs with sister group/kennin members
C) you could make the point (a very good point too) that if AKB had never had a single kennin or sister group hs member for the last 8 years, its own homegrown members would be more popular and sell out more.
D) in AKB the fans can see the members in the theatre and in many other events, whereas nogi only has hs and the occasional live/event

So taking it all into account I still think nogi vs. AKB handshakes can't be compared because the circumstances are too different.

 

I really hope they'll give Yukirin full slots to help the sales maybe give Yuki, Rie, Rika, Katomina, Ogiyuka full slots, give the rest of NIII + Miharu & Mizun a bit fewer slots, and give the rest of the KKS fewer slots

The hell comparing with 46G.
They don't have daily theater performance which make fans rarely see them live (no extra daily money to see them).
They do their activities all around japan, while NGT48 (48G) do their thing with location based. (just think about football home-away system, you'll get this)
Really, it's really off to compare them like that. I mean, it'll be really good if all people on Nigata know about them (or other SG and their location), and really great if those people support them, so they can spread their wing more. (just like AKB48)

 

Regarding to NGT48's 1st single, which should be earlier, NGT48's 1st single or NGT48's 2nd gen (or Team G/GII maybe)?

If only someone could make this poll on this thread.

 

2nd gen first.

All of the previous debut singles except ZKS had 2nd gens with them.

 

Prefer 1st single cause then there is a chance that the KKS will be at least in one single

How about first they wait for the remaining 1st gen kenkyuusei to be promoted to full members, so as not to create pointless divides?

 

It requires 2nd gen, there are only 10 1st gen KKS.

 

I think they still need kenkyuusei to be the unders?
If they promote all 1st gen kenkyuusei, the only consequences is open the audition for 2nd gen kenkyuusei.

 

GIMME THIS SINGLE ALREADY

I wish they released it before the 2nd gen came in so the 1st gen can have something "of their own" if that makes sense.

Also, here's hoping the second gen comes by next summer.

 

An akb48taimuzu article says that Akp hasn't decided on a song, so seems like it will take a while.

My guess on senbatsu is that it will be very similar to their positions in their recent theater performance of Love Trip

 

The thing is, sales are sales no matter what circumstance it is. if we are looking at profit, its only profit or loss in the balance sheet. The management would not release the single that wont be profitable just for the sake of debuting the group.

My prediction is that it'll look similar to this except Katomina as center

2nd line (6 members)= Noepii - Ogiyuka - Hinatan - Mahohon - Gatanee - Renapon
1st line (5 members)= Kitarie - Okappa - Katomina(c) - Rikahime - Yukirin
