Loving this song! I'm a new fan of NGT48, and have yet to hear an A-side that I didn't like. Also loving the vibes of CloudyCloudy's song so far - the PV teaser was beautiful. I'd be so here for them to be a permanent subunit.
Awesome itself is a nice song, but definitely doesn't come off as anything special. I can dig it for a few months and come back to it occasionally. Ramen Wonderland and Kakato wo Narase are both in that same kind of realm for me. The most intriguing thing to me about this single is actually that it's going up against an H!P group's single so I look forward to seeing where they both land on Oricon daily and weekly.
what a weird choice of a song...the chorus isn't like horrible, but the rest of the song is really not good. Actually I take that back even the chorus is pretty bad lolol. MV and costumes are really cheap and IDK just compared to the fantastic idol song "Sherbet Pink" this is very much a let down. I loved Sherbet Pink. Also, they all sound exactly the same in the mixing of this song. Not that there are any distinct voices in NGT, but I use to be able to hear some tonal differences like Rie, Monica, and Yukirin, in their older songs. Even in Sherbet Pink there was differences in the vocals (slightly). This song is mixed the same way all of HKT songs are mixed: zero individuality. Just a really unforgettable A-side. NGT use to bring some really good songs to the 48 groups. Their B-sides use to be super good too (Whatcha gonna do, is like my Niigata hoe anthem). Edit: oh also, the dance? Atrocious.
The song is cute. But I really, really don't like their nurse version outfit. Plus, Tsugumi is cute as always, but rather bland in mannerism/body language.

Well Sherbet Pink sold decently in the long run (133k total after a few more sales). But it had some kind of logistical delay that made the first week numbers lower than they should have been, which I doubt happened again here. So, not sure I agree with that assessment, but I hope it ends up doing as well as the 5th single did.
