I hope they’ll do a unit shuffle. I would love to see Okappa in Rika’s unit and Ogiyuka in Gesuna Yume.

I wonder if they’ll use the draftees to fill in the 5 vacant spots

 

that would be a good idea, AKB have already started using some of their draftees.

Team G members will probably appear as helpers too, probably the less busy ones.

 

Kinda OOT (since we have our own Team G thread) but what if they bust the 2nd gens right off the bat for Team G’s Shonichi? And i’m guessing they’ll have 2 2nd gens do Miharu & Nanako’s spots in the unit songs for this one

In the unit reshuffle, the members have sort of gone from one end to the other end of the spectrum (from serious to cute/playful and vice versa).

So, it looks like that the Kenkyuusei slot is still alive and well.
Surprised to read about Chikana's appearance in Inori wa~ . Especially considering that in the other song where a Kenkyuusei slot is supposed to be, Hidari no Ude~, the free position was handled by Rittan (presumably, since she was the only non-NIII member in there) this time.
It seems like she is making good progress with the dance lessons, for her to be selected right on shonichi, but I'm looking forward to seeing other Draft members filling in either of these unit positions in the future performances.

 

Perhaps it's because Chikana has background working as an idol, so she's a bit more capable than her peers.

I was surprised to see Katomina centering two units. I wonder how the stage will be like when the rest of the kenkyuuseis join.

My unit predictions were off:

I thought they shound have renamed it to NII since SNH isnt really affiliated with AKS right?

 

renaming it would've needed them to explain why had they done it and that would've been awkward. And an already established name is always more important than the logic behind it. (It's always been "NIII", not "NIII because there already are two other N teams".)

 

But it would’ve been way cooler if it was NII, where it could stand for NIIgata.

 

Then they can rename team G to GA, and form team TA in the future

 

I got this from AKB48 Team Surprise 3rd Stage Thread. From here I think we can conclude the position for each Kitahara Team NIII members on the group songs (if the position remains the same) compared to the original Team Surprise version, yay!
