lol not to be a party pooper or anything but we had this talk kind of thing on the General AKB thread. No one (including Japanese) takes the award show seriously now especially after 2013 when KFC didn’t win. Instead, Nogi even became a target of rigging(?) the system. By the way, Nogi won the award around the same time that AKB first did so no. Nogi did not “beat” AKB.

 

Haven't seen the Kouhaku performance, but what my mind was thinking after seeing the images on Twitter:

 

I wonder which award does the general public praise/acknowledge more?

That's too bad if this award is rigged. But the Nogi girls seem to be genuinely happy and that's all good for me.

 

No matter what, people will speculate and have their theories. I just want to wish them congratulations because they still put in the work and effort and Influencer is always a great performance. I wonder if Himura will get to celebrate the win with Tulip the way they do.....

Awww sad to know that but it is still a great milestone for them being an expansion of the so-called franchise of idols which usually doesn't work with anyone.

I wished they showed this ep when Takayama earlier or just about to graduate. Currently my mind and perhaps a portion of the fans are thinking more about Ikuta's graduation
