    What did I just see?!?!

It's been a long time since Maiyan's been 2nd row!

    I like the smaller size.

    Still freaking angry though...

Yay! Saku-centaa...! As expected. But Kaki and Ayame front too. Didnt expect this. Super happy
    4th gen party...!

Sad that Saa-chan didnt selected. But yeah she is already dropped hint that she gonna works hard by starting as under member.

Too bad no Momo and Denchan.

that senbatsu formation is... a choice.

Best thing is having smaller size senbatsu formation.

Reika is included but they don't even give her special position to a CAPTAIN, at least shadow center like Waka and Ikoma?!
Maiyan on 2nd row is basically management saying 'pls graduate already'.

    Management making a pattern? 1, 2 and 3 airdrops for 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen respectively.

They pushed back even future aces for the three new juniors. This is ground-shaking. I hope the investment would pay back, though.

Also, sad that no under member to senbatsu chances happened. Eventhough 18-nin senbatsu is neat, as usual.

hhhha so basically 2nd gen just push 1 member : miona
    3rd gen 2 members : yoda momo
4th gen 3 members : sakura kaki ayame
so for the next 4 members for 5th gen...
where is momo? she is hiatus or pushes back in under?

I know you aren't serious about this, but it's obviously wrong. They probably already know that she's gonna graduate really soon and already talked about it.

The "just graduate" hint from management could be Inoue out of senbatsu.

I like this strategy, management are trying to sustain the group into the future. It's Nogi tradition that should be doing again in the future too.
And also the balance of all generations is good.
    1st Gen : 8
    2nd Gen : 3
    3rd Gen : 4
    4th Gen : 3

I also like that they push three 4th Gen in the front so pressure must be lower for them.

Both Maiyan and Iku already state their concern and care about 4G. So, they must be delightly lend their front row position to their beloved kohai.

And Capt probably just refuse center offer at all. She want her place to filled by a kohai. So, there it is: Saku, Kaki, and Ayame.

Feel free to dislike this post, lmao.

that means the when the 5th gen came in, the entire front row will be filled with them

about the senbatsu itself. i think there's not too much to say here, its a normal airdrop senbatsu, they have the most popular member supporting the 3 4th gen that got airdrop. they definitely shown interest in the 4th gen member by actually airdropping 3 of them, great for them, and congrats to Endo for the center position. but i don't think we should look at this senbatsu too much. its just an experiment, they've done this multiple times now, its not exactly a bad thing. lets just move on.

No offense, but I’m probably gonna skip this single...

P/S: I disagree with opinion saying that this is good for the group’s future. Nogi’s future should rely on 3rd gen, not 4th...

Feared (and maybe resented) but expected.
This is the exact pattern we had for 3rd gen back in the day, center airdrop after participating for the first time with a generation song: 17th-18th for 3rd gen, 23rd-24th for 4th gen
Keeping the 4th gen benched will be bad in long term, so maybe this is needed.

Well I am just seeing the silver lining.
    Ayame!

Inoue Sayuri was dropped...It could be a hint that she might graduate later this year. Well, under is full of people again. I have to say people underestimated 4th gen, even mocked their beauty and now they are taking Senbatsu spots by storm. Even 3rd gen could not maintain their spots. Btw, Ume-chan is drifting away each single...kinda worried me.

Edit: check the official website and it looks like the rest of 4th generation members won't make their ways to under sooner. 18 nin as Senbatsu.

This is really shocking.... the 4th gen airdrop seems to be fine to me. Just the fact that maiyan and ikuta is being pushed to the back for three airdrop 4th gen senbatsu seems to be too overwhelming to me....

Honestly speaking, to me it's better a 4th gen center than a Yamashita center.

Not that I'm against a Yamashita center, I would be glad to have one in the future, but I thought that this would have been the worst timing. Rewarding a member with a center after a hiatus for the second time didn't look like a great idea to me.
