    HS dates: http://www.nogizaka46.com/news/2019/02/464th-2.php

    28/4: Osaka · INTEX Osaka
    5/1: Chiba · Makuhari Messe
5/12: Aichi · Port Messe Nagoya

The webpage lists the girls who will be attending but it also lists those who won't which as usual includes the more popular members such as Maiyan and Ikuchan. However as I'll be in Kanto for Golden Week and I've never been to a Nogi HS event before I'll buy a few tickets for the Makuhari date, there'll still be plenty of members there to interest me. (The first round of sales starts at Fortune Music on Thursday (2/28) at 14:00 JST.)

2 singles + 1 album were just sucks.

never been a fans of an album.

no mv , lack of handshake dates and arguably lack of promotion.

im not willing to trade nogi spring singles for anything else outside of my beloved group

theres tons of good album songs that in my pov is getting ruined by the song came at the album instead being release in a single.

unubore beach, omoide first, kougousei kibou, gomen ne smoothie, katai kara no you ni dakishimetai , skydiving , arguably kikkake and some others. i feels robbed everytime rmmber theres no actual mv for these things

big disappointment with mgmt decision to make nogi skipping their spring single.

ive been wonder can i got misa solo or beautiful units for 1 last ride. thanks for the sotsugyokon but if theres a unit / solo by her i know 0 chance to get mv for now.

little good vibes that 4th gen is available for the album ihs. but still , with only 3 venues and only 1 tokyo is still meh.

why do even bother give gradcon compilation on bonus ? just sell it as cheap price bluray kinda tokyo-dome style it will sell like pieces of cake. still this bonus even didnt rly impress me

ok interesting units + good song can ease a bit. but since it have more or less impact with one of my favorites while my kami oshii were just recently graduate. only 1 words to describe my feelings.

    disappointment

I also would've prefered a single cuz I like the tension waiting for the senbatsu announcement and we get mvs and stuff. They should've dropped the album in January and released a spring single. But it is what it is, I guess.

I too am hoping for a Misa-senpai solo song. Just like Himetan had before graduating.

^^It's looking to me that these 1st round HS results are a little misleading and in fact the situation is probably much healthier in regards to sales. Although I've attended several 48G events over the years I've never gone to any 46G ones but for my Japan trip this year both Nogi and Keyaki IHS events have cropped up while I'll be in the country.

Seeing as this is my first-ever Nogi IHS application I went back to the thread for the previous album and I saw that the 1st round sellout count was zero. Consequently I placed a rather conservative order for tickets, partly because I can only attend the first 3 slots on the day (5/1 at Messe) but mainly because I (wrongly) guessed that I'd win everything I applied for. This is the result of my application last week:

    Hoshino Minami 0/1
    Inoue Sayuri 1/1
    Wada Maaya 1/1
    Hori Miona 0/1
    Yoda Yuki 0/1
    Yamashita Mizuki 0/1
    Kubo Shiori 1/1

I then made a Twitter search and found that many other applicants had also had disappointing results (including a couple of people who'd won nothing for Kubo in spite of large ticket applications for her which made my '1/1' look very good!) so I assumed that sales for this album's tickets had been much better than the previous one. Therefore I was very surprised to see the first round results with all but one slot not sold out.

Assuming that many people couldn't have paid for the first round I then re-applied in the second for the same 4 girls for whom I was unsuccessful, but this time I applied for rather more tickets for each of them. This time I won absolutely nothing! Looking at Twitter just now I can see at least a few people who made massive applications but got very little, e.g. this person who won just 2 tickets from an application totalling 445,500 JPY:
    https://twitter.com/murumurupon/status/1103945295543455744

My guess therefore is that the most popular girls had many slots which were almost sold out in the first round but that's not reflected in the results (and they probably would have been sold out but for a few people who hadn't paid). Therefore we should see many more sold out results in the second round (and hopefully there'll still be some other girls who I can apply for in the third!).

EDIT: Here's a tweet just now from someone who won just 1/225 in the 2nd round (that 1 ticket was out of 50 they applied for Kubo):

Aren't these ALL of the top sellers/popular members of Nogi (excluding Hoshimina)? What the heck happened... I don't follow Nogi that much, but I remember it used to be only Maiyan & Nanase who skipped HS, and even until now I still don't know why both of them were given a free pass.

There are fan theory that management let member 'retire' from IHS after sell 400 ( I'm forget the exact number, cmiiw) slot. A table show how much HS ticket sold floating around and yeah it was fit to the theory.

These top sellers still do handshake in NHS. And that's why NHS is always supercrowded.

this method give members more time to members to work solo jobs outside group activities. Like Ikuchan said in some interview, that every members achievement is achievement for group and thats how they bulit Nogi brands. Nogi currently spreads their activities into various field. They also providing solid back up. They push member to the top for each field.

    Like,

    Musicals>Ikuchan, Captain
    Radio Dj> Maichun
    Novelist> Kazumin
TV drama> not yet. They seem try in Mizuki, but we cant say that's a success push yet, since it's still early and all her drama are late night. It's hard to make much impact and gain general public interest, except it's have good story and great acting a la Ossan's Love or First Class.

What @tiktok said. The gist here is what we once though as member stepping out of IHS due to prissiness was later applicable to everyone who seems has on-track individual career in the showbiz outside the group. There is still Zenkoku Akushukai/National Handshake where they participated and why it's exploded recently. There's no way to measure Zenkoku(NHS) though, which is why the IHS result will always be misleading without extra information.

I have separate opinion regarding Kitano, but I believe it's a thoroughly assessed judgment on her IHS exclusion. So I'll leave it at that.

I know most of the girls who skipped IHS have a busy schedule. But what happen with Kiichan? Is it because her health problem back then?

    Yup, same "problem" resurface.
May it recover well, although I'm not sure when or if it will be.

i still think kitano like to avoid ihs and trying to cover with health problem. her remark 'bothersome to meet' and absence during 2nd gen get together several years ago still lingering in my head. well, from what i see, she is well liked here.

Ahhh, you were quite behind on your Nogi game, I see. I don't feel like to brought it up openly, but we all know her health problem is an obvious ruse as the real reason is a repeated report of hate campaign on her handshake line for years already it dwarf Ikoma hate and making her remark several years ago seems more like an effect rather than cause, depending on which started first. Granted, other Nogi members face meiwaku-ota as well, but Kitano seems higher on the chart.

Don't take my word blindly. Just find these report on the web and see it for yourself.

I just did the mother of all facepalms.

Honestly. This is not the first time you posted something without having any clue about the subject, but to accuse her of using her health problem as an excuse... that's a new low. She was bullied during handshake events for crying out loud! People visited her lane just to say awful things to her... to the point she had to take a break for many months. Ofcourse, she is hesitant to go back out there! Her memories of handshake event probably aren't the nicest.

And the remark you mentioned is unrelated. She apologized for a white lie. Never told a white lie yourself before?

    God almighty.

people says harsh words to them all the time. so your point is invalid. the only difference is either you can take it or cant. white lies? there are truth in them. of course it is 50 50 jokes and cover up. anyway, that is my opinion. im pretty sure she was well received, if not, she probably grad long time ago.
