On Monday, the official website of idol group Nogizaka46 revealed some details about their variety show, which will begin airing next month. The show will be titled “Nogizakatte, Doko?” (“Where’s Nogizaka?”) and will be broadcast on the 6 main stations of the TX Network: TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Hoso.

The show is said to focus on showcasing the personalities and strengths of the group’s members, including singing, dancing, acting, and intense effort.

Episodes will air weekly on Mondays at midnight, starting on October 2nd.

Nogizaka46 was officially formed last month by Akimoto Yasushi and Sony Music Entertainment as the “official rival group of AKB48.” The group currently consists of 36 members.

 

Really looking forward to this.

Happy there's Mai, Sayuri, Minami and Ayaka.

Sad there's no Ririko, Yumiko or Misa.

So the current senbatsu is temporary and the official one will be chosen based on training? That and the basis of the show sounds like they're really putting focus on talent and basing a girl's 'stock' on her own abilities rather than how popular they think she could be. Good way to set themselves apart as a group right off the bat.

I don't watch any idol varitey shows since there's a bunch of talking (and no subtitles to go with them ) but this seems like something I can definitely get into.

 

Do you think that there will be a separate section for Nogizaka46? Nothing against them, but I don't really enjoy seeing the two groups mixed. They're separate projects after all!

Well its not big deal with that so far, since they will "switch" senbatsu very often that means we will see almost all the girsl relativity fast in the show.

Since they're choosing the senbatsu in the first couple (?) of episodes, I thinking/hoping we'll get a single announcement near the end of October or November.

 

Oh I hope so... I want my Sayuri For the first ep, I will make sure myself to watch Ayaka....

 

Seems that the MC will be Bananaman (1) (設楽統 - Shitara Osamu; 日村勇紀 - Himura Yuuki) and (first episode?) guests, Ungirls (1) (田中卓志 - Tanaka Takushi and 山根 良顕 - Yamane Yoshiaki), both comedy duo comb.

It's premiering Sunday... wow, the time flew faster than I originally thought. With this, 4I, KII3, and my favorite holiday, October is officially the bomb diggity for shizzy.

 

Ok actually quite liking the premis for this show, kinda has a bit of a Hello!Morning feel to it from the descriptions so far but that show was pretty darn good really, will be interesting to see what it is like, am looking forward to the first episode though to be sure!

The first only-MC part was very rough lol

Overall, it was ok, just the introductions...even those who didn't have a professional history did well...oh my, I'm EXCITED
Random thought: Ikoma Rina just lost the tomboy-ish looking I had about her....She's CUTE.

And yeah, the introductions were pretty the same from the event, so if I translate all the introductions, we could have all of them 8D (it's gonna take a little more..)


They had to bring the Kami7 in Nogizaka too omg lol I can't stand that (Nogizaka Shichi Fukujin - all I can think about is Fukujinzuke LOL)

And in the end it was written on the caps, since the ending theme song isn't finished yet, they asked to wait a little more for it.

Bit of a slow first episode with basically just the girls introducing themselves, but I'm optimistic about where the show can go. I went into the show cold (not knowing anything about any of the members) and I came out with a pretty good impression of the girls with what little time they had. And Shiraishi Mai.

 

Nice first episode. I wonder if those comedians will stay with the show. I've seen the guy who does faces in many shows and dramas before.

 

Mixed feelings about senbatsu.

Happy that Miyumiyu and Yuminee are in. Especially Yuminee since I totally expected her to be an "Undergirl" (or whatever they call them for this group) so really excited to see what she's got to offer. Her new hairstyle is great, she looks so much better and really cute! And for the most part, my favorites (Maiyan, Kazumin, Ikoma, Reika, Minami) are still in.

Not cool at all with the lost of Sayurin and Seitan though and still no MisaMisa or Ami. Boo.

Wonder who's their Kami7 (though I've got a pretty good idea who's in it)... but mostly, who the center is. I'm getting a very strong suspicion it's Shiraishi but don't want to get my hopes up yet.

About the show, wasn't bad but disappointed since I expected them to dive into the talent/acting stuff right away... was hoping for training footage too. :-/ But it is the first episode so it's acceptable that it was just all introductions. The girls are incredibly cute and entertaining so it certainly wasn't boring. Hopefully the next episode will deliver what was promised.
