Who made this english translation? There are too many errors that I can't count . Some of the translations are the opposites of what she is saying. E.g. manami said "someone who has been working to that very extent (like Naachan) would not possibly run away (even with this decision)" and the resulting translation is...

Also in 0:17, what she said was:
    -----
any people who complained, "wth! Just graduate! Dont mess around with us!" is not truly a fan.
    ----

Also, Bunshun does have a division specializing in politics. Well some sort. And they did publish a lot of ground-breaking political issues. So yeah...

Ichikawa Manami has like 5 scandals, she is the most irrelevant member in the group. She's just defending Nana hoping to get something from Yunamogion cartel.

Yesterday, Manaka unliked Okada's tweet so she knows what she's doing. She probably wrote something for Okada only because her family personally knows Okada's family.

Smart girls aren't even mentioning anything related to Okada. Foolish girls are rooting for Okada and getting murdered by fans. You see who the real wise girls are when this kind of disaster happens.

Smart girls like Tomu, Saho, Hitomi, Berin etc etc.. Did they say anything about Okada? NOPE. NO THANKS. SHE'S DONE. SAYONARA.

Yeah, there seems to be a lot of misinformation swirling about what Manami said in that stream.

When the wota she's "beginning a war" with mostly aren't even fans of the group in the first place (and hypocrites to boot since Sakamichi is a scandal fest), and a lot of other wota agree with her, yeah, yeah it is.

Important point. One hit tweet criticizing Nana after her graduation announcement was made by a Peel the Apple otaku, a person who couldn't care less for AKB48.

As someone who just lurks in the shadows this is really sad for me.
She was such a huge part of the group for years and years, this end is awful.

After reading this eye-opening post i've changed my mind, it was 100% premeditated, it's the good old "i am sorry i got caught".
Now i just want her to leave as fast as possible.

Isn’t “sorry I got caught”, every idol’s “apology” for liking the D? :^^;:

Well, considering she went 10 years while being serious, I think it’s very easy for an idol to justify it to herself after so long. Once she got caught, it’s possible she realized the gravity of what she was doing once the cognitive dissonance broke. Also, when seeing how much she hurt fans, it’s possible the apology is genuine. When someone’s actions catch up to them, emotions have their way of catching up as well…

This is just speculation, though. She may have viewed graduation as the only way for atonement, too.

Isn’t all the backlash she’s receiving rn because of her constant fanservice with yuiri and her ssk speech back in the day after sutou ririka kekkon announcement? If she didn’t push the narrative that she’s perfect idol and everything, I feel like the backlash wouldn’t be this bad? No?

    Yes
    + her majime chara
+ more importantly, BAD VERY BAD and even one of the worst PR stunt (second only to NGT48)*

But tbh, this scandal can be a great opportunity to break out that shell. I would like her to be more 'human' instead of that ue kara mesen majime ver
so i was looking forward to a relatable Naachan. Unfortunately she caved in to the pressure

To put it frankly, most (if not all) members of the 48Group (including hers truly) would not reach this level without the illusion of parasocial relationships that keeps the fans in supporting these types of idols. Just like how perfection is the currency in Kpop idols, parasocial relationship is the currency in Jpop idols

Let's be real...in the flux of great, emerging vocalists like Ado (whose vocal ability are wayyy above Naachan) and the resurgence of kpop and male idols, she has little chance to survive without these parasocial relationships. Remember there are soloists like Ado that can fill up SSA alone while Naachan with the help of other 50+ members could not even fill budokan. Budokan is 1/3 of SSA btw

Okay, there are many international fans but how much do they contribute financially?

More her overall attitude throughout her time being an idol, from her earliest days taking a hard line with her genmates slacking off, through the Ririka scandal (where she really wasn't as critical as some people seem to think, just reiterated her own commitment to the fans), and the Yukarin scandal (which was way worse than this). But a lot of people are condemning her for being "hypocritical", when she was never really judgmental about others' scandals. She stood with and supported Miki and then Mako, for example.

I also think a lot of the people hating on her only know about her from those past events (or from news articles talking about those events), they haven't watched her slowly expand out of her majime shell--not abandoning that seriousness but allowing the other hidden parts of her personality to emerge. And, well, here we are.

For sure some people are raging about the YuuNaa stuff but frankly they have only themselves to blame for seeing it as other than what it was, two close friends who'd been through a lot together.

Do you really think I have fun attacking that man, considering Naachan also isn't blameless at all?
It hurts even more seeing her Kouhai (Sayarin) crying about this.

I meant that in a general population context, whether a single person does or doesn’t matters little.
