Omori Miyu (Miyupon) / 12th Generation

She was criticised for her words and comments about the SSK and handshake discussion topics she made at the handshake event and G+. I guess her uneasiness surfaced the next day (May 8th), after that G+ entry (May 7th) I posted earlier. She explained her anxieties the next day (May 8th) in her G+ comments. Sorry if I happened to confuse anyone with my explanations! I've translated her G+ comments from May 8th and 9th below:

I don't become sad because of talking about the election,
on the contrary I'm really serious about it and that's why it comes up in discussions, and I know that everyone's doing their best (for me) so I'm grateful that we talk about it.

@Kuura Ah, thanks for translating! I can understand better why Miyupon got criticized. Maybe she could have said it in a different way but she's probably nervous about elections so she didn't feel good about all the fans asking, maybe it would have been better to directly write a post about her goal for the elections and let the fans read it so they won't ask her anymore XD I'm sure she was just nervous. But she said sorry about it so it's ok. :">

 

She wrote the G+ post about her SSK goal (16th place) the day before those comments, but I guess that post just added fuel to the fire (perhaps too much in some cases) for some of her fans instead of just acting as a briefing.

I hope she'll be able to enjoy the event itself despite being this anxious about it beforehand. What I've learned about her is that she really tends to keep everything to herself and doesn't want to draw attention to herself, especially when she's sad.

Somehow, what she said in this Cm can be related to elections, LOL.
She said this year that she's aiming to rank in senbatsu someday.
She aim high, but hopefully (for now), she will rank close to UG ^-^/

 

Miyupon looks really cute and pretty in her election appeal video. and wow her version of 365 nichi no Kamihikouki O_O She sounds so beautiful. Why did they cut it ;___; I want a full version! They could at least show until the end of the chorus! I'm sure she sing the whole chorus but they cut it, why! ;___;

They need to let her perform the whole song, maybe at AKB Kouhaku! But I love this acapella version she did for the election appeal video! I hope that it convinced more people to vote for her, I want her to rank up this year, in the 40's or 30's at least >_<

Miyupon got 14,669 vote last year, and this year preliminary she already have 7715 half of last year vote. I think it's a good start
