This song is kinda forgettable, to be honest. I can listen to it while studying and it's by no means a bad song but this would be better suited as an album song than a single, IMO. I think UNLAME is a catchy and interesting song and I'll be happy to listen to it more. I enjoy both sounds so I don't want them to do only songs like UNLAME but I also think songs like Mayonaka no Binetsu should be more b-sides.

In general, though, maybe the group ought to establish a vibe or a genre for themselves, otherwise it's gonna be hard to build a fanbase.

 

It's basically this. The problem is doing the kpop wannabe sound like unlame just makes it harder for them to do that, much less helping them at all.

 

The other problem is the original sin followed by a succession of comunication and execution errors DH did by deciding to launch the OUT OF 48 audition show.
those mistakes drove fans interest away (remember how the candidates were all coldly welcomed at the spring concert). DH didn't learn from IZ*ONE wrong parts.
And this initial sub zero interest is pursuing the group from day 1. And not helped with the lack of entertainment the show has since the audition ended.
Also, the unknown producer who turns to be a "Yesman !" who can't exactly take decision, who doesn't follow a clear direction, etc
Very little is good in Unlame's management. And the chemistry with members is far far from what we had with No3b, DiVA or Not Yet.

The girls disserve better.
Had they been under Sasshi or Komuro Tetsuya's wing and things would have probably been better.

It's tough to be positive, even though, this 3rd song isn't bad, and there is some promotion this time.

This song is actually more 2000s and 2010s of generic jpop than kpop. The song sounds like many jpop antique songs,...

It is much better than that UNLAME song thou. That song.. idk what they want to do with that song and the MV.

Just I don't think all 9 17ki will be promoted all at once.

 

There are 10 members in 17th generation ^^ I agree though, I don't think all of them will get promoted at the same time.

 

The episode had some fun.
In the 1st part, the staff questioned Yuichi about various things and the other members (minus Narumi and Hiyuka) had to guess her weird answers.
such as "what would she do if she was the Little Red Riding Hood, being about to be eaten by the wolf ?

in the 2nd part dedicated to 17ki, the staff asked them what they would need to be promoted.
Most of them answered that they are lacking in performance.

However Makino san also pointed out that they also need to develop on their humanity controle. In other words: "the art of reaction".
hence, the trainign begins next week with various pranks.

 

I was really waiting for those pranks yesterday, but I guess is worth waiting for this good stuff one more week

 

Yukirin is still here for like 1 or 2 more months, they need to invite the reaction queen and make her give a lesson to KKS about giving reactions

Oh boy finally the day is here, the really first time I want to see this show because seems funny

 

Absulotly no UNLAME in the episode, it's all about 17ki, in a 2 parter.

At 1st, the girls are asked to perform a strange gag. It's fun to see how they react to what the gag presentation (especially Sorara) and how differently they perform it.
In énd part, it's the gag where the assistant fells to the ground with his hands full of (whatever). HEre again, the reactions are very different.
