I'm trying to get my schedule for uni sorted and I've been working on it for hours, it's such a pain. I swear, it's the worst part of uni, especially since you make a schedule and you're not sure if you can keep it because some classes will be filled up already. Just REALLY hoping I can get the classes I want... *crosses fingers* Urgh, and it sucks that I'll be going home at 6pm pretty much everyday.

And speaking of IT, man my job was a pain today. I work for a school, and there's a lab in my building that is used for this one specific credit recovery program. I've blocked off access to the web since it's not what they need to be doing(and the teacher who watches the class uses the phone on my desk more than she watches her class). I get a bomb dropped on me at 11AM(summer school ends at 12, mind you) that one of the teachers decided he needs a lab of internet-capable computers in, say... 10 minutes? Thanks for the warning! I got it done, though, cuz I'm like... awesome! B-) Appreciate your teachers and school staff. Now that I've been in it first hand for two years, I have truly seen how much b.s. they... err, WE have to put up with sometimes.
The head of IT at my school is, to be honest, an arrogant twat. Really! I pointed out a gaping hole in the new program he uses to control the entire school's computers from any one he chooses - Impero, it's called - and he fixed it... And I didn't even get a thankyou. Just good for him that I leave in a week or so, I could've been mean and told entire classes of kids about it, but I didn't because I'm nice. He's just a twat. Yay for my first rant. XD
Seriously, I wonder how IT teachers get employed in schools these days, I know SO much more about IT than the two IT teachers combines and I still don't know much about computers. It's annoying.
Some schools put a lot into their computer programs, others put whoever will do it in there. I am just the technology assistant, which translates to I do all the work but don't handle any of the money or stuff like that. My boss, the technology director, used to be a coach here. How he got into technology and cirriculum, I don't know. Oh and here's my rant for the day. The air conditioner in my room here at work is BROKEN!!! Not a good thing to happen in June... in TEXAS.

I was a teacher in a school for two years. It was heaven compared to the office work that I do now, but I am not going back for all the money in the world (damn brats!)
my holidays are so bored to death. i can't go out. my dad uses his car to work. my mum uses her car for some important matters for almost everyday. my brother uses his car to work. i just have my bicycle but where to go with bicycle....?
