Sakaguchi is rising fast on my favs list. Her sense of humor and "sexy tarento" chara are a crack up. I'm waiting to see more of her in LOD performance. HKT48 has much talent in the 2nd gen. It's also interesting to note that Riko is actually older than Ota by a few months.

Watched 2013.07.12 RS LOD and Sakaguchi performed "Kiss Dame." (her normal position I think) She successfully became the sexy tarento she aspires for. She was so good at it that the camera focused more on her than Pii-chan who was the center (also with Jiina). Riko is one of my fav 2nd gens because of her gap appeal. [nod]

I was surprised when I found out that she's one of the older members of HKT.
Thus I came to understand how she's able to do that sexy tarento chara. xD

Rikopi with her sexy-character, better rephrase that to "sexy-idiot" character. This girl acts so silly that I can't help but laugh when she was bawling like this in the middle of the mall. At least she got a dramatic montage at the end.

Talking about silly, those were some random assignments indeed. A loaded guy (seriously who carries €900 or $1200 in cash?), and to end it all somebody who was wearing red underwear.

On the Pajama Drive of December 16th, Rikopi's costume failed twice. The first time she sat down on the raised floor part and tied it while the other girls "shielded" her from the audience. The second time she just said "to hell with it" and tied it in front of everyone.



This is the second time it happens to her. I guess she's doing it on purpose to make everyone a victim of her sexyness.

 

I guess it's less worse if that happens to Rikopi than one of the younger girls. She also handled it well; I wouldn't mind if that would be her regular stage outfit.

On the HL stage on friday Rikopi centered Seifuku no Bambi.
Not to sound too biased but that's my favorite under so far; I enjoy her singing voice and despite being the oldest original HKT member she's pretty good at cute concepts. [party]

I love HL when Rikopi is there as Maichan under.
As in the video she is so cute despite her "Sexy tantou" in Bambi and I like her bit of Craziness in the intro to Boyfriend no Tsukurikata-

Rikopi is always a pleasure to watch in LOD, one of the best performer overall, funny and entertaining during MC, always ready to come at the rescue if something goes wrong in the MC.

Too bad she will never be in a senbatsu

I was part of the "Shisshouten" MC in the noon and in the evening!!!

Which is why I would have liked to be a part of senbatsu, and learn from her.

名古屋での2日間の握手会のことを思い出していました。
When 21:00 passed, I remembered the hand-shake events over the weekend in Nagoya.

「選抜」という言葉を何回をききました
みなさんすごくキラキラした笑顔で
私に話してくださるんです
The word "senbatsu" was said to me many times by my fans, who smiled brightly at me.

すごく嬉しかった、りこぴなら選抜に入れるよ！
って思ってくれていることが嬉しかった。すごく。
I am veyr happy to have fans who are happy for me, and have confidence that I would be in the senbatsu.

だってHKTに入った頃の私からは
坂口選抜に入るんじゃない？とか
ファンの方に思ってもらえるなんて想像できなかったから。
Because when I joined HKT48, it was impossible to imagine fans thinking about me that way, as someone who can be in the senbatsu.

でも、選抜発表はもうだいぶ前にあったんです。
But the senbatsu announcement came to us many days ago.

尾崎さんが涙ぐみながら？？？
真剣な眼差しで
メンバーの名前を発表する姿、
そして自分の名前が呼ばれなかった瞬間
今も鮮明に覚えています。
Ozaki-san, with tears in his eyes, told us the names very sternly. And I clearly remembered the moment when I realized my name wasn't called.

尾崎さんもとてもメンバー思いの強い
支配人さんだから発表するの
辛かっただろうなぁ。
I bet it was difficult for Ozaki-san to make the announcement, since he loves each one of us very much.

だからね、握手会がすごく怖かったんです。

Even though I knew the truth, none of my fans knew. I had to put on a smile for whatever was said to me, so that they won't notice...

My fans told me,
"I started to like you when I saw you live."
"I became your fan when I came to your hand-shake for the first time."
"My oshimen is someone else but I was always fascinated by you, so I came by"
"Thank you for bringing happiness to us. I will continue to support you."

そんな風に言ってくださることが
嬉しくて、そしてその笑顔をみて
「でも選抜に入れなかったんだ、ごめんね。」
と一人一人の顔をみて心の中で思っていました。
When people said those things to me, I was sincerely happy, and I said in my mind, while looking at their faces, "But I am not included in the senbatsu, I am sorry."

でもね、気づきました！
謝るのは違うかなー。と、
確かに選抜には入れなかった。
HKTの宣伝の顔16人。
その中に私はいないけど
やっぱり選ばなかったのには
訳があって、足りない部分があった。
But I realized something. It was probably wrong for me to apologize, because it was true: I am not in the senbatsu. I cannot be one of the 16 faces that represent HKT, and that is probably because I lack something.

やっぱりビジュアルかなぁ？？（笑）←

I am very frustrated because many of my kouhais made it (to senbatsu). I am confident that I know my stage parts better than any kenkyusei, and my love of my work and experience in the group is as strong as anyone else.

でもやっぱり足りなかった。
But that wasn't enough.

これからその足りない部分を探して
埋めていけるかな？
