So... Natsuki had her birthday yesterday.

I sent her birthday present a little over a week ago. There's a three-page fan letter basically detailing anything that has happened since her last birthday. I even tried my hand at including some kanji, hiragana, and katakana. It's laughable at best, but I hope she'll be able to read at least a little of it.

Her present is a keychain. It's a football helmet from University of Iowa, the college I'm going to. Why this? The helmet is featured in SNSD's "Oh!" MV. Natsuki loves her K-Pop (although I don't think she's ever referenced SNSD (she likes KARA, T-ara, and IU, among others)), so I hope she gets the reference!

I baked brownies with some friends. Just pretend it's a cake. Brownies sounded better at the time!

There were also a few great firework shows on her birthday... so I vote that they were actually done in celebration for her.

Yeah, I hope she gets it!

Yesterday Natsuki made her appearance in Majisuka Gakuen 2! She got approximately 1/8 of the screen time she got last time (she was only visible for something like three seconds total, and these were in group shops that covered her up for the most part.)

Personally, I think "Shafted-chan" would fit better rather than "ナツキ," but that's good to, especially since I refer to her almost exclusively as Natsuki, so I can deal with it.

She was a gal, if you couldn't tell. Love it. At least there was one good part of a really bad season of MG.

and with this year's janken tournament announced, I HOPE NATSUKI'S STILL LUCKY AND GETS AN EVEN HIGHER SPOT IN SENBATSU THIS YEAR! i'll still be extremely happy if she makes it in though

Natsuki was on PON the other day... It can also be seen in the DUMP SHOW! thread.

SO... not much happening in the N World besides DUMP SHOW! which is taking up all of her time. She did get in some time a couple days ago for Seibu Dome rehearsals, which is good. I'm hoping that she'll get a moment to shine there. But we'll see if that happens, as it hasn't in the past few large-scale concerts (since Budokan (August 09... two years ago.))

Most of the reviews I've read on DUMP SHOW! seem to be good. They're saying she's cute and sexy, and she has great facial expressions and a beautiful voice. As if we didn't already know.

On that same topic, I know I'm probably the only person in the world who cares, but I finally figured out how to find The Lost Solo Line. It's from her duet line with Kasai in Ai no Stripper from the third B5 performance ever. Just a little over an hour ago I downloaded the 1100620 B5th LOD from Youku, since it is her most recent performance. (In other news, I0'm praying Team B gets a show on either the 26th, 27th, or 28th, since those are the last days she can celebrate her birthday!) Anyway, it occurred to me just then that I could also look for that LOD, as that's the only performance where a girl is missing that Natsuki shares a duet line with in B5. I found it, and after lots of program downloading, have it in mp3 form.

Hajimaranakucha ROMANSU mo owaranai...

*Note: the audio gets weird for a second towards the end of the line. Youku cuts bigger files, and her solo just happened to be in between two files. It even skips when you're watching online.

Thank non-existent god! Team B is having a show next Wednesday... complete with birthdays!

I was really worried since there was only a three-day window of opportunity this month for a birthday show/LOD for Natsuki. Unfortunately, they're pairing up the birthdays, so there'll be less screentime than we're accustomed to for birthday LODs, but still. Thank goodness this is happening.
