    Apparently, Yoko has a relative in Sakamichi Series. She is her cousin, Ioki Mao, 5th gen member of Nogizaka46.
    Mao said it on her latest video on Nogizaka Streaming channel. Can't believe my oshimens is actually related.:inlove:

    Hinatazaka 46 Shogenji Yoko reveals wet hair cut in uniform "FRIDAY"
    Yoko Shogenji of 　the idol group Hinatazaka46 has appeared in "FRIDAY" (Kodansha) released on the 29th. An off-shot was released from the magazine's gravure.

    Shogenji is 16 years old and just joined Hinatazaka46 last September. She is a hot new member with a variety of charms, such as flute and karate. The magazine has six pages of gravures

    So, I was trying to find out her name meaning by using Kanji dictionary. And, I found something interesting.
    Her first name Kanji, "陽子" (Yoko) consist of two Kanjis, which are "陽" kanji for Sun and "子" kanji for a child. So, her name basically say she is the "Child of Sun". I think it is her fate to enter Hinatazaka that has image of Blue Sky and Sun. Or, maybe, management also knew that this girl is not only talented but has that name so they accept her.
    More interestingly, her first name "陽子" also has another meaning, which is "Proton".
