I know I’m late but OMG this song without yellow filter actually sound and look pretty good. The three front members really slay this. I lived.
    Also congrats on their sale!!!

    And you had no faith!
How much did TWICE end up selling?

    Happy with the sales.
This is their best first week since Maenomeri. Hopefully it'll have some longevity and reach 400 or 450k.

One can be worried with sales and spot going down day after day, while Twice's ones were consistant.
If Twice didn't have 2 releases back to back, SKE had little chances.
So yeah, the threat is real.
    (down to 9th today, btw

Watching this made me wonder what kind of frustration theyre talking about...:^O^::p
The dance video shows how great the choreography is. It takes a lot of practice to shuffle positions so rapidly in two jumps like that, and with so many people, the way they kept doing throughout the song. Its very sexy and still very SKE-like with all the jumps and full extensions. The music video was terrible at highlighting the best points of this song which are the choreography and the SKE-like energy so the dance practice video really gives you perspective.
I want to see them do a live performance with a darker costume.

. . . You know, if you could just edit the bloody rap and dumb air horn parts out, the song would sound a hell of a lot better. There's a good song in there somewhere, it's just hobbled by being messily mixed and having some skeevy blokes rapping on it.

Like I’ve said it is a lot better live when them dudes are not so noticeable and audience is a part of it.

Story about sales in Oricon. Note that they count points to combine different types of sales.

"SKE 48 single "FRUSTRATION" recorded sales of 321 thousand PT for the first week, and won first place in Oricon weekly combined singles ranking dated 8/5 [Note: the current ranking dated July 29, 2019 covers the week (July 15, 2019-July 21, 2019), so this is for sales from July 22 through July 28]

Following the previous work "Stand by you" which won the first appearance in the same ranking with December 24th in 2018 that became the first announcement, it became the first place in two consecutive works.

The breakdown of the weekly points is CD single: 321 thousand PT [32.1万PT], digital single (single song): 552 PT, streaming: 106 PT. This work sold 321 thousand copies in the first week

Legit tho. The MV is kind of tragic. They should have just made a cool dance MV that showcased how great SKE is. Like they're known as the hardcore dancers in the 48 groups lol. The dance should have been the entire focus.

I think I'm of the same thoughts as most people here — the A-side was redeemed for me by the dance practice movie, so I'm excited to see a live performance.

I was also blown away by Nojima's solo song 夢の在処へ (yume no arika e / To Where Dreams Hide), so I decided to do a quick translation of the lyrics here: https://saitowinterstar.com/archives/600
There's an audio sample, so take a listen if you haven't already!

5th round in Mu-Mo is equivalent with Chara-Ani resales round. I confidently doubt its empty sale.
