    Due to the dance practise video I kind of found out the real senbatsu placing.

    That means, if it was a basic 18 member senbatsu.
    Takeuchi Saki and Sato Kaho wouldn't be in.

    I feel already sorry for them, especially for Sato Kaho who got really center potential in my opinion.

    Yes finally, I called that dance version! Gotta binge watch it!

    ^ But I see neither of these two girls in your list? (honest question, I really know almost none of the current SKE girls, save for Tokonyan and Mirei, whom I just found about).

    SKE was on Buzz Rhythm on 29th January! I'm surprised that it wasn't posted or discussed yet, I'm glad they get to appear on a TV show to promote! They performed Koi Ochi Flag, the performance is really good and full of energy :3 I think this song might join my top 5 favorite SKE a-side songs, it's so fun and it makes me happy listening to it <3

    Here's a Dailymotion upload that has the full part with SKE, there is a short talk part at the beginning before the performance, Jurina said that this is her last single and she's graduating, then Suda talked about Jurina's popular "reels" (dance videos) in IG, Jurina said that there's one that reached 26,9 million views (you can see all her "reels" here) and talks about having followers from foreign countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Uruguay, Ecuador etc.

    I understand this would be the corona effect but I just wonder, NMB's 1st covid era single sold around this as well (the single before Akari's grad single), and SKE usually sell better than NMB, so what happened?

    Corona really did a number on the 48 ajd 46 groups right? If I'm not mistaken, Nogi sold 590K for the 1st week, down by 400K from their last pre-Covid sales.

    I think it's all about the HS events, the real, not the online. They can put enough "extra's" in this CD, but the personal meeting of your oshimen can't be beaten by this.;)

    At first i would have say that it's all corona's fault and everyone is impacted, but it indeed varies from artist to artist

    To take another Akimoto idol group as reference, Last Idol released 2 singles in middle of the pandemic, they rely as much on handshakes, and had to switch to online meetings.
    Their 7th sales took a good dive then their 8th became their best seller to this day.
    Though, they promote on a different formula.

    So there's definetly something else.
    Maybe how they lost their interest from the general public ?

    I know it's because of the virus but damn, the song is great and doesn't deserve this at all.

    Because of the pandemic, I think all 48/46 groups (and any other group who rely on fan events to sell) will have their sales go down, I don't think it's something to be sad about because that's expected and it's not like it's just one group affected, all groups (speaking of 48/46) are in the same situation. Maybe for now until the pandemic is over (whenever it is...) we need new "standards" for what is considered good/high for sales, if before it was like 1 million for the bigger groups (AKB, Nogi) and 300k for the other groups (sister groups), now it might be 500-600k for the bigger groups and 100-200k for the other groups.

    Maybe some other reasons than the pandemic is the fact that most of these groups have much less activities now (this is also due to the pandemic though), less singles etc. and then the graduations, although I don't think SKE had big graduations since their previous singles but for the next single there won't be Jurina so it will make a difference. I guess unless they'll find new bonus or something to encourage fans to buy, the sales won't increase much, until they can bring back fan events and we don't know when that will be...

    I think it will be good enough if SKE can pass 200k sales, considering the situation. They're not far from it!
