Really good sales considering the whole situation

 

That's a really good first day. Depending on how the rest of the week goes they could close it out around the same figure as Koiochi Flag's first week (190,570) which it actually has exceeded in first day sales by a bit (Koiochi Flag's first day was 177,046).

 

Now that's a really good first day indeed.

Makes me think why Koiochi Flag did relatively worse considering it was Jurina's last single. Were there fewer events planned?? Jurina's slots for events were sold out though.

Anyhoo~ really glad SKE seems to be doing well. I do hope this is a sign that SKE as a group can continue even without the current popular members.

 

According to this article the first day sales figure on the Billboard chart is 229,237 copies so it's all very good news for this single:

I'm really glad SKE48 has started putting their new music on Spotify. It's a real shame there seems to be no effort to put the old music on there for international listeners, but it makes the Aozora Kataomoi 2021 version even better, cause it's like a time machine. Even if I don't get to listen to their old music as easily, at least I've got this one great song reminding me of it!

I've been listening to this single a lot more than SKE48's other most recent releases. It's really good, the A-side is an excellent idol song. I feel bad for Mirei that she can't promote the song because she caught the virus about 2 or 4 days before the single's release, but I hope she gets another chance at performing this!

I would assume SKE48 has currently put a hold on theater performances because of the outbreak amongst members, right? I hope when they re-open, they will perform this song during their encores a lot so people won't forget it.

Considering the situation... the sales are ok. I hope Mirei has the chance to center a 2nd single. She's lovely and I think SKE right now needs someone like her❤️

Only about 3k short of Koi Ochi Flag, and that included all SKE48 members + it was Jurina's graduation single. I think we can be really proud of this result. SKE48 is undergoing a completely new period now, and I was worried that Jurina leaving would mean lots of fans leaving too.

I also came across this video on twitter, all the other girls are really supportive of Mirei and it seems she's made a good impression as the centre! With steady sales like this, I think she will be the gate to a new bright future of SKE48.
