Welcome everybody to the 3rd Annual Stage48 Countdown Awards, I'm Forrest Fuller. As we know, 2019 was NOT a great year for the 48G and even the Sakamichi Series had a down year as well. But today we will be honoring the year that was 2019 and also the decade that was the 2010s (which was a breakout year for the 48G and Sakamichi Series). So let's get to our first award (The Worst ones will be first.

    Worst Moment of the Year
These moments were just very bad and these moments we hope NEVER happen again, The Winner for 2019 Worst Moment of the Year is.

    Winner: Yamaguchi Maho Assault Case
Runner Up: The End of AKBINGO
2nd Runner Up: 2019 SSK getting Cancelled:

An easy choice as the stuff that happened to Yamaguchi Maho was voted the Worst Moment of the year as it was moment that shouldn't of happened and was handled so very poorly (and showing that the head of AKS doesn't care about the members well being) also that alot of the stuff we loved got canceled because of this mess (The Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up being the result of the stuff that went down with what happen to Mahohon.

It's now time for our 2nd award of the evening.

    Worst Year for a Member
This award is for the member who had the Worst Year. The Winner for 2019 Worst Year for a Member goes to.

    Winner: Yamaguchi Maho
    Runner Up: 7 way Tie

Imo, this award should have been uniamous as the year Mahohon had was just very bad and it wasn't even close. The year she had should have been a year that no member should EVER have (But sadly did because AKS is a bunch of morons).

It's now time for the 3rd Award of the Evening.

    Worst Song
The Song from the Sakamichi48 groups that was terrible and forgetable and is a song that we will forget in the next year. The winner for 2019 Worst Song is.

    WINNER: SKE48 (Frustration)
    RUNNER UP: AKB48 (Jiwaru DAYS)
2ND RUNNER UP: Nogizaka46 (Sing Out!)

Frustration is SKE48's 25th Single and was the first single from SKE48 and the song wasn't well recieved as it was a song that just wasn't SKE48. It was Furuhata Nao's first centered and she deserved better.

We have now ended the Worst Awards and we have entered the Best Awards part now and also the the decade awards as well. First up

    Best Captain/Leader of the Decade
The Best Captain/Leader of the 2010s, These girls showed the best leadership from the past 10 years, The Winner of Best Captain/Leader of the Decade is.

    Winner: Takahashi Minami
    Runner Up: Akimoto Sayaka
    2nd Runner Up: Yamamoto Sayaka

Considered the best Captain/Leader of all time, Takamina wins the award for Best Captain/Leader of the Decade (There is a reason why she has the Captain/Leader Award named after her along with Akimoto Sayaka who finished 2nd).

Now the award for for Captain/Leader of the Year.

The Akimoto/Takahashi Award (Captain/Leader of the Year)
The Winner for 2019 Akimoto/Takahashi Award is.

    Winner: Okada Nana
Runner Up: 3 Way Tie between (Reika, Mion, Cherprang)

The current leader of STU48 and the only AKB48 girl with a Kennin right now as Okada Nana wins the Akimoto/Takahashi Award for the 2nd straight year (and this year she wins the award all by herself and didn't tie with anybody).

Now time for the Award for Best Group

    Best Group
A new award that goes to the Best Group from all of the Sakamichi48 groups. The Winner for the 2019 Best Group is.

    Winner: BNK48 and Hinatazaka46
    Runner Up: AKB48 and HKT48

Our first tie this year as BNK48 and Hinatazaka46 win the Best Group Award. BNK48 pretty much had their best year out of all of the 48G and Hinatazaka46 has a had breakout year in 2019 ever since their Independence from Keyakizaka46.

We are now our up to our 2nd Decade award.

    Best Concert/Event of the Decade
The Best Concert/Events from the past 10 years. The Winner of Best Concert/Event of the Decade is.

Winner: 1830m no Yume (AKB48's Tokyo Dome Concerts)
Runner Up: 2013 AKB48 Dome Tour

The crowning achivement of AKB48 as it was a concert that was 7 years in the making as they finally reached their dream of making the Tokyo Dome in 2012 (Still always love the announcement video, it was one of those videos that made me proud to be a fan of AKB48).

    Team of the Decade
The Best Team of Past 10 years. The Winner of the Team of the Decade goes to.
    Winner: Minegishi Team 4 (Original)
Runner Up: AKB48 Team 8 and Team K

The first Minegishi Team 4 (which was created at the Tokyo Dome Concerts in 2013) and featured Aigasa Moe, Iwatate Saho, Umeta Ayano, Okada Ayaka, Kitazawa Saki, Shinozaki Ayana, Takashima Yurina, Murayama Yuiri, Mogi Shinobu, Hashimoto Hikari, Kojima Mako, Maeda Mitsuki, Nishino Miki, Okada Nana, Uchiyama Natsuki, Minegishi Minami. It was a team that gave us the future of AKB48 in Kojimako, Miki, Naachan, Yuiri and had a great leader in Miichan as she was consider the mother of Team 4 and today in 2019 she still had that title (mother) to all of the new generations and we know how hard it will be for them when Miichan graduates in 2020, but Miichan knows they are ready to lead.

Now the award for Best Team of the Year. The Award for 2019 Best Team is.

    Winner: AKB48 Team 8
    Runner Up: BNK48 Team BII, HKT48 Team TII, AKB48 Team 4, AKB48 Team A

For the 2nd straight year, the Award goes to the Eitos. The Eitos continue to be the most popular Team out there (with girls like YuiYui, Okabe, Kuranoo leading the charge).

    Now to our next award.

    Best Music Video
The Best Music Video of 2019, this is an award that goes to a Music Video that is just so good. The Winner of The 2019 Best Music Video Award is.

    Winner: HKT48 - Ishi
    Runner Up: BNK48 - 77 Suteki Na Machi e, AKB48 - Sustainable, STU48 - Kaze wo Matsu, Keyakizaka46 - Kuroi Hitsuji

Tbh, I was actually surprised this won the award, but it did (Looking back at it, I can see why) as it was one of the best HKT48 songs of all time and it was a Music Video that was Sasshi passing the torch to the new generation of HKT48 (With the flag being passed to Miku and Hana).

Now to the award for Breakthrough Member of the Year.

    Breakthrough Member of the Year
The winner for 2019 Breakthrough Member of the Year is.

    Winner: Yahagi Moeka
    Runner Up: Yamauchi Mizuki

2nd straight year Moeka wins this award as she had one hell of a year (Concerts, Photobooks, and her first center). Yet the shocking moment that happened was when she graduated (which tbh, I'm still wondering why she did that) Who knows (and I don't think we will ever know tbh with you).

Now up to another decade award.

    Song of the Decade
The 2010s had ALOT of Iconic songs from not just AKB48, but from the whole Sakamichi48 groups. The Winner of the Song of the Decade is.

    Winner: Koi Suru Fortune Cookie
    Runner Up: Heavy Rotation
    2nd Runner Up: Beginner

While we are all VERY sick of this song (as it has been performed WAY to much now). The impact this song has had has been big and look at how many Koi Suru Fortune Cookies we have all over the world. Still a freaking joke that this song didn't win the GP Award at the JRAs (freaking LDH smh!).

Now the award for Song of the Year for 2019. The Award for 2019 Song of the Year is

    Winner: HKT48 - Ishi
    Runner Up: Nogizaka46 - Sing Out, AKB48 (Team 8) - Sukida Sukida Sukida, Keyakizaka46 - Kuroi Hitsuji, Hinatazaka46 - Kyun

Ishi grabs his 2nd award of the evening as it also wins Best Song of 2019. Sasshi's final single as the song was released back in April and it was awesome goodbye for one of the biggest names in HKT48 history.

    Now to another new award

Biggest News Story of the Year
The Biggest News Story of 2019. These are the stories that made headlines this past year, The Winner of 2019 Biggest News Story of the Year is.

    Winner: Yamaguchi Maho Assault Case:
Runner Up: DEL48 and MUB48 Sudden Announcement

Like with the other award, This one imo should have been uniamous (and it almost was). This was the biggest news story of the year and it wasn't even close.

Down 2 more Decade Awards, the next one coming up right here.

    Biggest Moment of the Decade
The 2010s gave us alot of great moments of the decade (Some Great, Some Good, Some Bad, and some VERY bad). The winner of Biggest Moment of the Decade is.

Winner: Sashihara Rino Winning 2013 SSK and Acchan's Graduation
Runner Up: Yamaguchi Maho Assault Case

Our 2nd tie of the evening as Sasshi winning the 2013 SSK and Acchan's Graduation in 2012 are your winners. Acchan Graduation in 2012 (which was at the Tokyo Dome, the right place for an ace to graduate at) was the end of the first Chapter of AKB48 and started a whole new chapter (which imo lasted until 2016 when Takamina graduated). 2013 had one of the biggest upsets in SSK history with Sasshi shocking the 48G and winning the 2013 (The first of her 4 wins in the SSK) nobody had her winning as Yuko and Mayuyu were considered the favorites to take the crown. But Sasshi Oshis said "I don't think so" and helped give Sasshi the victory.

Of course with the decade award already being revealed, we will not have the same award, but for just 2019 now.

    Biggest Moment of the Year
The oldest award here (beginning as just a list in 2014). The award for 2019 Biggest Moment of the Year is.

    Winner: Yamaguchi Maho Assault Case
    Runner Up: Sashihara Rino Graduation

The Story/Moment that rocked through out 2019 is the winner as Yamaguchi Maho Assault Case and the shit handling of it is the biggest moment of the year and it affected alot of stuff that happened with the 48Gs

We are now up to the MOTY and also MOTD awards now. First up

    The Melody Nurramdhani Laksani Award
The new award giving for the International 48G members from the International 48Gs. The winner of the first ever Melody Nurramdhani Laksani (The biggest named International member imo) award goes to

    Winner: Cherprange Areekul
    Runner Up: 5 Way Tie

One of the most popular members of BNK48 and member who has a lot of recogiztion in Japan (Thanks to Sekai SSK in 2018) is the winner of the first ever Melody Nurramdhani Laksani Award (and imo, well deserved).

3 awards left, who will win these awards?

The Maeda Atsuko Award and Overall Member of the Year
Of course you know that this award is named after one of the best members in Sakamichi48 history. The winner of the 2019 Maeda Atsuko Award (for Japanese Member of the Year which goes to the girls from the Japan 48Gs) is. Will also be adding Overall member of the Year as well since the same 3 people were listed her (in the exact same spots)

    Winner: Yamaguchi Maho
    Runner Up: Okada Nana
    2nd Runner Up: Yahagi Moeka

While she had the worst year EVER in the history of the 48Gs. She did show much of a strong person she was and that was fighting this whole thing to show what happen to her and pretty much exposed AKS for the assholes that they really are. Don't know what 2020 will bring, but it looks like this will still not be over between Maho and AKS (thanks to that stupid bitch who's in charge of AKS). Mahohon is your winner of The Maeda Atsuko Award and Overall Member of the Year.

and now we are down to the final award of the evening. The Member of the Decade

    Member of the Decade
The 2010s gave us ALOT of big names and members that are still known today and will be known for quite some time. The Winner of the Member of the Decade is.

    Winner: Sashihara Rino
Runner Up: Oshima Yuko and Takahashi Minami

What a decade Sasshi had, While she had been somewhat of a mainstay in senbatsu at the beginning of the decade, she was somebody that was more of a Mid-Carder (Using wrestling terms here), that all changed in 2011 as she her rise began to grow as she moved up toward the Main Event status in the 48G. She hit a roadblock in 2012 when he scandal came out (Something from 2009), but who would have thought that would be the greatest thing to ever happen to her as she was able to use that to get herself even more popular and she won the 2013 SSK and is now known as one of the greatest members of all time.

Well folks, that was Stage48 Countdown awards, Join us next year as we will have the 2020 Stage48 Countdown Awards and hopefully 2020 will be a much better year for all of the Sakamichi48 groups (expect for NGT48, screw them, I hope the good girls get transfered to better groups). See you all later.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Yamauchi Mizuki.

Perfect example is from AKBingo ep 523 (Bucchake Baseball), when Rikopi is telling a dirty joke about Hama's "bulge". The whole studio is bursting into laughter, only Mizuki is sitting there not understanding a thing.

She’s my kami-oshi in Hinatazaka46, I met her last year at a HS event and she was as lovely as I expected. I’d put her at the top of my list along with Zukkii - but we *are* meant to be making a list aren’t we? Top 10 as usual?
