To be honest, dude long time gone. Fortunately, we know someone who got passed his moderator key.

It's not helping much though other than accepting and regulating wiki contributor.

Maybe it's good to lock ratings for users who have not 10 or 25 posts? I've impression that here are some multiaccounts to multirate posts. Some have more than 5 years and even no 1 post, but reading and rating.

abe maria's thread is still located in the team TP main thread, even though she graduated nearly a month ago and she is no longer listed on the team TP website.

If you look closely, you will see there is no Team TP Graduated Members forum, so for now, she stays in the Members forum.

    Update:
New graduated members forum created, so I moved her thread.

So posting would work. That was the compromise; as it is we can’t have both.

I'm confused: what is this alert about? I don't recall posting in Komi's threads for quite a long time, so this looks to me like a forum error.

CGM48 anounced their 1st single today. (See Izuta Rina's thread).
Well it's time to open their dedicated section.

    Thank you.

    Suggestions for Forum Events:

    1) Member of the Decade

IthebigC-Style with disclosed voting and points. All members are eligible which were active between January 2010 and December 2019.

    2) Song of the Decade
Possibly via voting, or - even more exciting - via single elimination (Random brackets; voting is done with the like-buttons). Single elimination likely would last several months or so, if 64 songs are preselected (from all A-Sides and other iconic songs). 64 songs = 63 individual votings.

I would volunteer to run 2), but this would make me the most powerful like-farmer of all times. A separate poll-account would come in handy, here.
The problem with 1) would be that not many veteran fans are still active, naturally, so it would be likely heavily biased against older generations of members.

I like single elimination, it works great on youtube or facebook, not sure how it'd work on a message board but worth a try.

I'd go for Best stage also via single elimination, Reset vs Tetsuna, Pajama Drive vs Mokugekisha etc maybe it'd even encourage more people to listen to/look at stages they haven't done in a while.

I am happy to discuss both ideas for this year's polls. However, I'll say this right up front. I'm not really hot on the idea of using the "Like" system as a method of voting. I think the voting system we have traditionally used works just fine.

I'd be interested in working on these. I haven't announced it yet but we're going to get the forum ranking done in January this year.

Posting ideas here publicly for feedback, I think the best way to start these would be with public nominations, with optional comments supporting their decision, then a run off between the top X candidates.

I once did a "best song"-poll using google documents, in which people assigned grades (1-10) for each song. That was extremely quick to evaluate, but of course this invites abuse, as in double posting or changing other people votings. So, we could also do this by PMs or publically in a thread, but this takes a lot of copy/pasting for the user in charge.
I guess, around 100 songs are eligible (A-sides plus selected standouts from stages/couplings/albums; no poll without First Rabbit!), so thats quite a lot of voting and evaluation. +
Another, possibly better option is to run this ithebigc-style. People could then vote for 20 songs from a preselected pool, much akin to the member of the year polls.

About single elim, the reason i endorse single eliminination is because i have just experienced such a voting in a facebook idol group in which they did this for idol songs in general. From a 16 song-bracket, they pitted two song vs each other and used the facebook-rating system. Response was quick and in large numbers, and it was also exciting and fun. We could deploy this easily with the forum tools as well. Its basically like cutting to top 8/16 and start from scratch, as in poker tournaments.

I am a little bit tired of facing the line "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" when I try to access the forum. What is going on with the forum server? I don't think someone, Mr Waffle?, is working so much with the forum.
