It wasn't me who wrote that, but I don't see the issue? English isn't my first language either, but it sounds fine... She was a member of Nogi's 1st gen, she is a model (presumably still so since it's not tied to being a Nogi member) and in January, she'd completed all activities with Nogi except her grad con.

I've edited it now, though, since the gradcon is over too.

I've just found an article about Kitazawa Saki published today which says that she spent 5 years in Solihull, England:

I then checked her Japanese Wiki entry which claims that she was born there!

However further down it says:
出生地は愛知県[注 2]で、1歳から5歳[注 3]まではイギリスのソリハルで過ごした帰国子女であり[28]、帰国後は千葉県に住む。

That seems to translate as:
She was born in Aichi Prefecture[note 2] and was a returnee,[28] spending from the age of one to five[note 3] in Solihull, England, and living in Chiba Prefecture after returning to Japan.

It says that she lived in England from 1 to 6 years old.

I don't think our Wiki entry for her needs any major alteration (it says that she lived in England from the age of 1 to 6 due to her father's work) and I don't think she was born here but I just thought I'd mention all of this in case any editor would maybe like to do some fact-checking?

Already did! We need to make member pages and flesh out their main page, but yes, I think as the official Nogi rival they should be on the wiki.

Update: Just finished making member pages and some templates! We still need to make the 1st Gen Chart template.

I chose not to label all the members as being part of their debut song for now, since we don't yet know if all members are participating or if they will use a Senbatsu system. (Unless I missed that info)

 

Not sure who was meant here. If Wiki user "Raven Potter" (sorry, don't know who you are on the forum) still remembers, feel free to change it. I've removed it for now.

 

I was thinking about our image upload problem for the BokuAo girls, and I had an idea for a pseudo-solution.

We can't upload or embed images, but we can embed Youtube videos. Users see the thumbnail, and we can even select timestamps to start at.
Perhaps this means we can start to create 1-second long Youtube videos with each of the members' profile pictures, the album covers, etc? That way we can have some sort of image on the page.

I thought it was worthwhile to timestamp and link BokuAo girls' introductions. See Aoki Yuho's page as an example: http://stage48.net/wiki/index.php/Aoki_Yuho

In a way, I think this could work for everyone who's missing a profile picture. The video could just be a 1-second long silent video of their profile picture instead of something official.

What do you guys think? It's obviously not what we want, and there would be a big red play button in the middle of it, but I think this could be better than nothing-- especially for members who have no profile pictures at all.

Update: Testing it a few minutes later, it looks like the timestamps aren't starting at the right locations? Yuho's should go right to her profile picture, but it's starting at the MC woman...

(Also, is anyone able to find a workaround to getting mod privileges from Mr. Waffle?)

 

Has anyone actually been able to embed other forms of media though? We would use imgur if it was that simple... but I've only had success embedding Youtube videos.

Is this something which only Mr. Waffle can do and if so do any of the Admin staff here contact him about it - or does he just do it himself? Is he still uncontactable?
