Audition STU48 2nd Generation Audition Thread

The English speaking girl didn't make it, did she? She could have been a good MC member. I don't really follow much of this audition, aside from Shimizu Sara and her singing, what are the specialties of the girls who made it?

I know Kawamata Anna is that kind of girl who would age nicely, can't wait when she turns 20.

25 and this will not be reduced, although there is always the possibility that one or more girls deicides to leave by their own choice. (Which statisticly is almost guaranteed to happen)

Idk but I have a feeling the 2nd gen babies will be making their debut performance either on the Naachan-P Stage on Nov.10th or possibly during the National Tour Concerts in Hiroshima on Nov.16 or 17

So the heavily criticized new girl No.63 apparently sings very well. Now I get why some peeps voted for her.

Thought she doesn't look as cute as the other girls of her age but then I look back at Kokoa when she started...

 

According to official website, 24 of the picked girls now officially joined STU48 2nd gen. Only one, Maemura Himea, dropped out.

Probably so.
Can't wait to see the girls having their first professional taken pictures. Hopefully they are gonna go it in the same concept as STU's members profile pictures this year.

I wish they uploaded the pics and profiles before the performance, it would help the people going to the performances to learn the faces and names. After all, the girls might have changed their hairstyle etc. since the announcement event and since we are not used to them yet it might be difficult to recognize some of them. But I am excited about the performance, I hope they start doing a regular kenkyuusei stage too.

Part of it might be the fact that 2nd gens are already going into an established group, it is easier for them to know what to expect about the group. Sure, even with 1st gens there could be some prediction from other 48 groups but since STU's concept is quite unique compared to others I think there was still some uncertainty, plus you don't know how popular the group is gonna get at all (48 groups do have an advantage of having an existing fan base but still).

I don't know Himea's situation, for all we know she could have some health issues or something big happened in her life recently, but I do wish the girls thought it through well before auditioning. Especially in the case like STU's 2nd gen where fans vote and there are limited spots, somebody else who might have been more serious about joining STU could have gotten that spot instead.
