Audition STU48 3rd Generation Audition Thread

STU48 3rd generation audition has been decided! ! Based in the "Setouchi" area, STU48 is the first wide-area idol group of the AKB48 group, active mainly in "one sea, seven prefectures". This winter, we will be holding an audition for the 3rd generation!

<Application requirements>
・Girls between the ages of 12 and 20 (age as of November 10, 2022)
・Those who can appear on TV, WEB, and other media during the screening process
・Those who are able to live in Hiroshima City and its suburbs and perform regularly in performances if they pass the exam.
・Those who can sign an exclusive contract with STU48's affiliated office if they pass
・No experience required
・Those who can participate in the second and subsequent screenings

WEB application: November 10, 2022 (Thursday) 23:00 to December 9, 2022 (Friday) 23:59 deadline
Mail application: November 10, 2022 (Thursday) 23:00 to December 9, 2022 (Friday) must arrive on the day

With all the exposure they've been getting lately, i think there's no better time to hold an audition. Great job

 

A good smith should allways hit the iron while it is hot.

It's a probable 2nd chance for some of those who failed the New Wave Project audition. Just in another hand, I can't help to think about this as the anticipation for a possible graduation wave. After all STU48 have a reasonable long life now.

Miina really comes back to revenge after failing New Wave Project and NMB 9th gen.

And I found many old faces in these 80 candidates.
Ex: short-hair girl from NGT 3rd gen audition. She is no.29.

 

Kokoha as well! I couldn't find a screenshot of her NWP profile in SR but in the first picture she's wearing the NWP shirt they used when performing. She passed to the finals but didn't make it until the end. I've been following her and I can tell you she's a fan of STU48 and her oshi seems to be Paseri. I hope she's luckier this time!

 

I also like her a lot. Hope she can pass this time.

 

There's still no official announcement but it seems that some girls from the auditions made a twitter account and kind of hinted that didn't pass. So far the girls I've seen that didn't pass are #52, #69, #35, #37, #79 (wotas discovered that she had a scandal while being part of a chika idol group so it was expected) and #61. There are some girls that do have a twitter account but haven't really talked about the auditions so it's still a mystery. If anyone finds any other account or tweet from one of these girls feel free to share it. Also, my guess is that they will reveal the members during the 6th Anniversary but it would be nice if we got some kind of teaser or semi-final round before that happens (especially since there are around 20 girls that didn't even participate in the SHOWROOM deliveries)

3rd Generation will be revealed today at 21:00 JST (in less than 2 hours!) on the official STU48 Tik Tok account. 3rd Generation will have 14 members! The tweet is rather ambiguous so whether we'll meet all of them at once today or if we'll get introduced different members every day until the day of the concerts is still a mystery (most likely the latter option). I guess we'll find out soon!

Please correct me if I got any of their names wrong I'm not sure of their room number during the audition event, but according to Twitter Arai Ria is #49, Ishihara Yuuna is #74 and Ide Kanau is #27. Congratulations for joining STU48!!
