[Subbed] Nogizaka Shows Thread

Hey guys I didn't realise my posts were creating such a fuss. I'm sorry if I have offended anyone in any way, shape or form, that was never my intention, nor was it to make anyone feel unneeded. To be honest I'm just someone who really likes Nogizaka Koujichuu and have been watching Nogizaka related shows since the start of Doko. I just want to help others in the same boat as me who would rather have something to give them a general direction of what is happening, rather than nothing at all. I used to just do the translation, watch it myself, and that was it. However, I felt there may be others who may find some benefit in them, and it's obvious that there are quite a few people who do. If I can make at least one person happy that they get to watch their favourite show a little earlier, then my job here is done. If anyone has any concerns please don't hesitate to contact me directly if you don't want to post on the public forum.

You shouldn't have to apologize, man. It's not like you're forcing people to use your subs. You're just providing a quick alternative for those that would like the subs to come a little quicker. Definitely don't worry about it as you did nothing wrong!

 

I believe the main reason people disliked that post is because the subtitles simply don't work. If you checked them yourself, you'd understand.

Another reason why I believe people disliked it is because the sub contains text from a weird language that's not Japanese or English (check these examples: https://i.imgur.com/FkeXFJW.png https://i.imgur.com/H7Qamae.png https://i.imgur.com/0b3VyBe.png https://i.imgur.com/fhn8EnW.png https://i.imgur.com/kVRlOEc.png).

If you want these subtitles to work, you need to open them with notepad or another similar software and remove the "dx" at the very beginning of the file. Then you can close the file and save the changes.
After that, the subs will work.

Appreciate the good intentions of helping people out. However as you credited Kuneeel (https://kuneeel.blogspot.com/), who does Japanese -> Indonesian subtitles, it's probably a good idea to check with them (they are on twitter) before posting their soft subs machine translated to another language. As someone pointed out sometimes the translations are ending up with a mix of English and the original Indonesian language. Some subbers don't want their stuff 2nd hand translated to another language and their name attached because it could be a reflection of their work.

 

As someone who use both your subs and GEES, I'm grateful for what you do. I can watch the episode twice if I really like it. Thanks for your sharing.

Hmm... I downloaded those subs and it works for me, I don't need to remove anything in the subs, just rename the subs file to be the same as video file.

 

Just for sharing, among the Indonesian subbers, they got multiple Indonesian sub for 1 episode. It can be up to 3 subbers translating the same episode & people have no problem with it. Keep up the good work Dan. You contribute a lot to the non Japanese speaking fans.

Nobody is forcing you to use the softsubs from another person. Daniel is doing something good for us, because he want to do it.
Its funny to see how people complain about something that someone is doing for fun, not for obligation.
Just, dont discourage other people...

I admit that, I prefer GEES subs, but I also download the softsubs from Daniel, because I wanna watch the episode with subs faster and understand what the hell they are talking
