For the second batch of the 6ki girlies
Yuuna, being the 1st Yamanashi-ken member, I hope we get to go to location shoots. Her collection of Ume's photocards is something I will forever enjoy, especially since they are signed now haha
Kokone has a great comedy vein, just not tsukkomi style lol, and the fact that she was a schoolmate with Mao is a nice bonus
Mirine although not much was show for her, the fact her name is written as Sanrio and she shares a birthday with Hello Kitty is something to notice
Reina being the opposite of Yumiki is a nice contrast and I'm curious to see her love of spicy food showing further
Urumi days of the week jump, trombone and arts skills are something else hehe
Hinano I love how her personality does not match how tall and lanky she is. That combined to the fact she is a Queen of Misfortune as well...yup, she is my oshi in this new generation hehe

Such a fun episode! As an actual sumo fan this was doubly special to me. And in that regard, they either should have done a rematch or given the victory to Ichinose cause Ume clearly stepped outside the dohyo first while trying to throw her.
Saku-chan really is just a big baby, so cute! haha
Ioki as well is surprisingly childish, very cute!
Ikeda's long hair is something else, I keep getting distract by those beautiful locks hehe

Terepan is the prettiest, sweetest, kind-hearted Medusa in the whole world (for those few that may not know what a Meduse is, pls google it up). A lucky mortal may drown in bliss when showered by these rich, lush hair...

Actually, Ume didn't want to hurt Ichinose. She could have easily slam Ichinose down before stepping out of the ring.
    Sumo rules and guidelines
"When a competitor loses their balance and is falling towards the ground they are said to be in the shini-tai or dead body position. If the other competitor steps out or puts their hand down just before the dead body hits the ground, they will not be penalized. The person in the dead body position will lose the match."

Had that same thought. A few important matches were decided from that rule, so it was funny to not only see it on Nogichuu but also for Himura to get it right.

That rule is somewhat controversial, as sometimes the judges decide not to use it, hence my desire for at least a rematch. A monoii should have been called at least. And to keep in theme, as this is not a sumo forum, it was fun learning that Tamura expresses her love by strength lmao

I didn't expect so many people here to be interested in sumo. I don't know anything about it, but recently I saw a video in which Miuna from Boku ga mitakatta aozora visited a sumo family to help them cook.

Do any of you know how popular sumo is in Japan these days?

    Apart from that: great episode!

If you ever interact with her through her blog or through Meet and Greet and she recognizes you/remembers you, she'll talk to you before you can even a word out during handshake events. Yumiki-san is similar. I've gotten her real voice during handshake events and both are extremely cute. The best way to get her real voice is to call her by Maa-chan.

On another note, McDonald's released an ad in Japan on April 23rd with my 1-kisei Oshi Ito Marika-san Marikka'17 PV Remake, titled なげっと’15(フィフンのティーン) "Nagetto'15 (Fifun no tiin)." I made a translation of it, if you haven't seen it.

if the video does not show watch the video here

And here is the original 17th Birthday PV まりっか’17 (Marikka'17 (sebun no tiin) "Marikka'17 (Seventeen)" with English subtitles.

if the video does not show watch the video here

And the original version without any English subs.

According to some sources, McDonald's managed to get the entire production staff that produced Marika'17 to work on the remake. I recommend watching the original video first and then the remake, as 12 years have passed and she's switched roles.

And here is the MariKuma (Polar Bear) version

The more I watch her, the more Ookoshi is being solidified as my new gen oshi. Also, I loved how Masuda was the worst in all of it, really proving the computer club steryotype haha

Damn, now I'm curious...should I buy a drum-style washing machine? I always had top loaders, so could that be the cause of sometimes being gloomy? Is Riria up to something? lmao
I'm so happy we ended the episode with a new HK3 hahaha

In Italy there are only drum washing machines. Realising that top loaders exist, and are popular in other countries, was a surprise.

Nogizaka46's 39th Single, Same Numbers, Senbatsu Announcement (English subtitles by Quarian Kotenbu): Dailymotion

The strange glitching, in the interviews, is in the original video itself. If it's of interest, please, read the following:
Figuratively and literally, it's incredible to be home! Until today, none of us realised how long we'd been away, most certainly not relaxing, sadly. We have a financial support circle, of friends and family, that we built to cover those in need. While working on our last release, back in January, 4 members got caught in new-year job cuts and price hikes that, unfortunately, I'd expect many of you to know well. As those 4 have struggled for permanent jobs for the past 6 months, Hououin Kyouma, GamusharaShimaRin, and I have been the only providers for 7 adults, including ourselves. For added context, Rin-chan was already doing 10-14 hrs./day, 7 days/week. From the start of 2021, she's worked those hours on 1,623 of 1,627 days since then. Kyouma and I started 2025 on 6d./wk.; we've gone to 7, and average 11hrs. daily. Other than senbatsu announcement segments, we've genuinely only watched 1 Sakamichi episode in 6 months. The real heroes put in heavier shifts, though, so this truly isn't a sob story.

When that started, we were flying high with Sakamichi. I hope how deep our passion was came across, with our subtitles, recordings, and other releases. Some of LLC's distasteful/exploitative actions in 2025, and some of certain fans, caused concern, even that one which Kuromi-san, long ago, warned would happen. I'll not go into all of that here, of course. Many threads have detailed them already, and some of you may instantly know to what I'm referring. I'm adding it for context, but we've seen those fans and even content creators who've felt so assaulted or revolted that they've essentially been forced to leave the fandom. Our love for Sakamichi was wounded, but not killed, though. The lack of communication, however, was sparked 2 days after our last subtitle release.

Several Sakamichi "fans" landed on my desk, for a case about "fictional content", let's say. I'd never known clients prior to their coming to me for support, but this time, though the case wasn't brought by the people or their employers, the victims are Sakamichi members who I love. Rin-chan and Kyouma understood when, later that day, I said that I honestly felt guilty about our potentially being responsible for creating more of these "fans". I was certainly already aware of that stuff, but even being the hardened cynic I am, having to deal with it daily, potentially for years, isn't healthy for a real Sakamichi oshi. The supportive duo suggested that we largely went on a social media blackout. We did catch some messages, though. The most that I expect to represent fan opinions of us, and similar oshi, is this one excerpt"... honestly, with all you guys baggage, you lot probably arent the optimal successors to GEES. Like, I appreciate what you do, but like, if you guys and those others dislike what they're doing to members, like, just leave, really..." Our summarised reply highlighted that Nogizaka46 isn't defined by a name and logo, and that the affected are real people, not fictional characters, which is why we're such adamant defenders.

We're hopeful for our friends'/family's upcoming prospects, so there's hope that our previous schedules may be resumed. If we can return, however, not all of our releases will. Only yesterday, we were able to replace the only P.C. between the 3 of us, which was very much limping along. We've also got Sakamichi-related subscriptions to renew, so we can continue to share content. Because we've been scraping by to support our people this year, we can no longer afford our T.V. recorder. For the unaware, we're among the regular content providers on Aidoru, and regularly uploaded Sakamichi appearances, as themselves or actresses. Rin-chan's full Instagram archives have also ended. She'd been uploading monthly archives of pretty much every Nogi/Hina-related account, preserving everything from photos and reels to 24-hr.-expiry Stories. Her system stopped working near the end of the December 2024 batch. She hasn't even had time to organise and upload that, much less build a new way.

Her Instagram Live recordings continue, with nearly 200 since our last release. While we cancelled our T.V. recorder, there're still several terabytes-worth of content to be uploaded. We also have a large batch from JPTV, which tragically closed a few months back. Fully-functional blog captures remain. Mukai-san's, Yoda-san's, Sasakis Kumi-san and Mirei-san, Takase-san, and the Sanki and Yonki relays. We didn't have time for Katō-san's, Nibu-san's, Hamagishi-san's, Higashimura-san's, and Satō Kaede-san's, much to our fury.

I mentioned a certain message earlier. While I don't agree with most of it, I'm with that person on our inadequacies. As the guy said, "you lot probably arent the optimal successors to GEES" as English translators for Koujichuu. We're just the only ones that you got. Genuinely, if someone can do a better job, regardless of whether or not we can resume our previous lives, please, go ahead. Quarian Kotenbu've done 6 episodes. We wouldn't be missed by anyone on that front, and we're not arrogant enough to say that we are the only ones worthy of the throne. Ideally, of course, the people who're paid to translate would do it, but they clearly won't, both in time and accuracy. Our fierce gratitude goes to @lacubo , for the 2 Rokukisei introductory episodes. We'll do our utmost to return to subtitling regularly.

We haven't read any posts during the hiatus, and only a couple of messages (none on Stage48, which apparently wipes away all but recent notifications, anyway), so we're well out of the loop. I'm sure that at least 1 person's flamed us. There won't be time for Koujichuu this week, but I'm hoping to get communications back underway. If you have any messages to send, even if they're savage attacks, please do so! I'll respond to posts/messages related to me in a few days, hopefully. Kyouma-kun will do the same. GamusharaShimaRin is aggressively shy, so she won't read any messages on Aidoru until our computer's up-and-running. Even then, she'll simply pass most messages to us other 2, so, if you want to reach her, you may as well go through me or Kyouma.

This is long and not proofread. I'm rushing to release the video and communicate as much information as possible, while commuting. I know that most on Stage48 only got to know us once we began translating, but we've connected with a lot of of wonderful people through our various Sakamichi works. I've spent the past 6 months almost exclusively going after the worst in our fandom. I'm thrilled to get back to some of the best, even just for this post. I've barely been at my physical home recently, except to sleep, and I haven't attended my emotional home of Sakamichi at all. Even briefly, it's thrilling to be finally be home again, physically and emotionally.

To Quarian Kotenbu (and all our beloved fansubbers):

Please don't be discouraged by naysayers. This is only what I think but for every one hater I'm sure there are numerous others like myself who love and appreciate your work. It's tough when life gets in the way of things we love but I for one am fine with giving you all the time you need to get your subs done on your own terms. I love you all to bits!

    Cheers!

I've honestly settled into a groove of AI subs by Mr. 4K6 the next day, and then when the official YT adds their subs, or with HinaAi TeamHinataSubs uploads theirs, then I binge what comes out as a second watch. That way I get the timeliness of watching the next day with I guess good enough subs (GEES was far above that standard despite the name), and I get to watch with more accuracy when the "real" subs come out.
